    Waterford game at 8?

Schumi's thread and aertel both have the Waterford game at 8. Slightly late kickoff, how come?

I'd forgotten about that. It was on the fixture list from the league at the start of the season at 8:00. I don't know why.

Kick off is 7:45 DONT KNOW WHERE 8 CAME FROM.

Maybe the FAI were allowing time for another kit fiasco!

The game was originally intended to be a televised game hence 8 p.m.. It is now officially per UCD's Media Relations Officer on tonight's The Absolute Game on Dublin City Anna Livia FM kicking off at 7:45. Apparently Longford V Drogheda is now deemed a more attractive fixture for televising.

Do you need a Back in Time piece for this week?

Unlikely, as TV games weren't scheduled this far in advance (i.e. seven months from the start of the season). Seems lik just another FAI **** up.

Clearly the FAI thought that by now this'd definitely be a top of the table 6 pointer & therefore it should be on telly. I'm mean, in fairness to them, who didn't think that 7 months ago?

                            Ah, good old fashioned speculation!

I reckon the game's to kick off at 7:45, but the referee won't arrive till 8.
