A side like ours is always going to have occasional games like this. The first eleven we out out was a very young side - with the exception of Hynes, it was essentially an under 21 team (with a few execptions by 9 - 12 months).

Rovers are a decent side, playing nice football - for us to get anything we have to be really tight, make no mistakes and convert our chances.

Each of their 4 goals, with the exception of the lob was as a result of a defensive error - a shame because that has been our strongest line this season.

One bad day at the office is not the end of the world - it does show how important it is to get the back 4 back i.e. Mahon (yes !), Mcnally, Kenna and Bermo. As a unit the sum of their parts is clearly bigger than something else about their parts (?? - you know where I am going with this...)

We could end up getting nothing from our next 4 games (Drogs, Cork * 2 and Sligo) the games that will tell the tale will be Waterford, Bray and Longford at home
      DB Cooper is alive !
