Just having a look over the Stockport forum there, Dicker played in their 1-0 Carling cup win over Tranmere. He's as confusing as ever with opinions ranging from not good enough to too good for the division and other players not on his wavelength!

Got three games under Mahon, I think.
Stockport Mad does player ratings for every game. I'm going to assume that something as well established as the Club Name Mad website has to be vaguely independent and reliable. Gary got a 6 on Saturday and a 7 yesterday.Comment

Ciarán Quinn (!) and Mark Leech on the mark for Shels tonight.
Dicker dropped for the first time but came on after 35 minutes with County 4-0 down! Ended up 4-2, and Stockport fans for once seem to agree that it was a stupid decision to drop him and he should be in for the next game.
Ted O'Connor scores for Kilkenny again. Seven for the season now.Comment

Dicker is back from injury; started the last three games, with Stockport winning two of them. Seven points off the play offs now, though looks like a mid-table season for them.Comment

O' Connor went to Kilkenny after UCD but played no competive games. As far as I know he went back playing junior football until the start of last season and re-joined city in 2007.Going to start this to keep track of the various former UCD players who've departed us. Gary Dicker has recovered from injury and is playing for Stockport today, and started in midweek as well (got an assist for County's penalty today, if that's in any way significant).
Ted O'Connor scored for Kilkenny against Shels last week; he's their top scorer with 6, and seeing as he's been with them for years now (I think he joined after leaving us), he must be near enough to being their record all-time scorer at this stage.
Willie Doyle scored both goals for Monaghan as they beat Dundalk 2-0 last night; five for him. Getting back a bit of form, which is good to see.
Ciarán Martyn is back in the country after a spell in Norway. Glen is gone to St Pat's, while Ciarán Quinn is now teaming up with Mark Rooney to form a fearsome front pairing for Shels.
Also remember Stephen Lynch from that time? David Quinn (in the USA), and Donal Patterson? last time I saw him he was starring in a mobile phone ad on tv!
of the older generation, remember Robbie Keogh, Deckie Fitzgerald?Comment

Lynchy is off galavanting in Canada after spending the most of the last two years travelling all over the world. Played a small bit of GAA with Longford beofre losing interest in that too. His most memorable achievement was a last-minute winning goal over Kerry in a League match. Won him an Irish Independent Sports Star of the Week award. Big loss to the county team as gaelic was always his best sport and he was as a good a half-back as we've had for a while.
Him and Donie Patterson were good mates and he himself has become the star of such ads as Lyric FM, Crunchy Nut Cornflakes and McDonalds.Marco Tardelli's red and black,

Just noticed the end of your post. I believe Decky Fitzgerald is in Australia, as regards Robert Keogh, he moved to Kilkenny and played briefly with City in the mid 1990's. Bumped into him in Dublin a couple of years ago but not sure where he is now.Comment

Eóin, not Owen. He's playing GAA last I heard. Got one appearance with Dublin in a charity game and vanished after that.Comment
