There was a Hull blazer in the hospitality area at half time (couldn't these people be more discreet?). Word about Sammon must be spreading around with local rivals Leeds interested (hehe, Leeds now on a par with Hull). Can't figure out who else they'd be looking at and if they're after O'Donovan they're looking for a striker.

Sammo's a good player if you build your style of play around him. He would do a decent job at League One level if that was the case.Comment

not too sure about that,he battles well and will chase the ball all day but his first touch lets him down an awful lot and at higher levels in the game you just wont get away with that. so i think its smart business on our part if we sell him.Comment

Denis Wise with impressed with Conor Sammon when he came over to have a look in Belfield earlier in the season. I know cause I overheard him asking somebody who he was. But there may not be a Leeds United in a few days so that won't be a good move till the dust settles one way or another!Comment
