You've got to go through Derry to win the thing anyway. I say you may as well catch them slap bang in the middle of their fixture glut. It's the tie of the round so I hope it gets TV coverage. If we can even hold them to a replay, it'll cause a fixture nightmare for them. This should also help the bank account with half the helpings to a good gate receipt.Comment

Ill re-iterate what i felt on the 30th of MayI want Bray at home next round. Weve a bloody great chance of winning it, and most of the other teams will be thinking that aswel. As long as we avoid Derry away in the next round we can win it. Just avoid that and we have a great chance. I feel we have enough players to pull out all the stops in this cup adventure that weve started. We are good enough to draw away with any team left in the competition (bar Derry) and i think we can scalp anyone who steps into Fortress BelfieldWe are the U the U the UCDD!!!!Comment

Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

I'd be inclined to agree with that, especially without Crowley and Finn. I'd say it will be the same team that started against Cork, except with McWalter in for Byrne in the hole behind Sammon. With Derry playing 3 in midfield I think that 4-5-1 would be the best formation though. That could mean Hurley coming in, with Podge/Kav on the right. The biggest concern is Daz Ryan vs Paddy McCourt.

Hopefully Derry will go to extra time with PSG (winning in the end of course!) further tiring them. Unfortunately Kenny will expect us to crowd the midfield again so he can make contingency for it. I'd still go for the five across the middle and try and get it to the replay or snatch a win on the break. I'd go with Podge on the right as he's a lot stronger than Kavanagh. We're missing Crowley and Finn but I think Hurley's best position is in central midfield and I think a McDonnell/Hurley/Dicker centre could be quite strong. Sammon is just the man to play the lone role. Ok, his heading skills are not too great but if it comes to his chest or feet he can hold it up excellently. He also has decent pace and ball control.Comment
