There are bars on campus but you're better off with one of the local bars like the Montrose, Lonnegans or Kielys (Mount Merrion not Donnybrook).

      Are they near the ground/pitch?

No the "nearest " pub is in the Montrose Hotel across the main Stillorgan Road.
Given Sligo have not won in Belfield since 1986( at that was a League Cup game) aren't you being just a little cocky?

The Montrose and Lonnegan's (same building) are across the road - five to ten minute walk. Kiely's is miles away.

Prediction - we've bene unlucky recently and have a very good record against Sligo of late - might reverse your scoreline!

            Incorrect pineapple!

Kiely's Mount Merrion is a five minute walk from Belfield Park.

Turn right out the Foster's gate, left into Mount Merrion at the lights nearby and straight up the hill.

You'd need to be Derval Bleedin' O'Rourke to do that journey in 5 minutes Aberdonian !

                    Sorry...was thinking of Donnybrook.

Although I'd agree with CTID on the length of the trip...

                      She's sprinter/hurdler so I doubt that's awfully relevant.

Max 8 minutes, but an elite athlete like myself would expect to do it in 5.

I think the only way to settle this is with a pint-to-ground race from Kiely's and the Montrose.

Records stand for nothing. Given the form of each team, I think we will beat ye!.

I agree a race is a good idea but lets make it more interesting.

                            3 racers.

                            1 from Kiely's Mount Merrion.
1 from the Montrose going through UCD.
1 from the Montrose going the usual way with the shortcut.

Well I think holding Cork to a draw, outplaying Drogheda and Shels and doing well against Bohs before sitting back counts as good form.

EDIT: And throw in a 4-1 win against Bray as well.
