Going to start a new thread for the U-21 shield. Our first game was this afternoon - lost 2-0 at home to Bray. James Hussey, Aaron McEniff, Billy-Bob, Derek Doyle and Gary Dicker were all involved from the brief bit I saw. Next game is the rearranged tie away to Athlone on Tuesday evening.

The eight above were entered in the one group. I've taken results from Aertel and from club websites (obviously neither being a particularly reliable source) and all the results I've found are listed above. So that's all I can say really! Only missing Cobh and Pat's at this stage.Comment

Cork beat Rovers 3-1 and need a point from their last game - against us - to win the competition. Best we can do is beat Cork, hope Limerick lost to Athlone who in turn fail to beat Bray, and we can come second.Comment
