    UCD U21s draw

With Shels in the Shield last week, apparently. Cawley scored from a penalty; we equalised in injury-time. Shels had Cawley, Ndo, Dean Delaney and Gary O'Neill in their team to name but four players you'd have heard of...!

From the results I can piece together, the table looks like this...

    Code:
    [b]Team	P	W	D	L	F	A	Pts	GD[/b]
    Pat's	4	2	1	1	5	3	7	2
    Shels	5	2	1	2	7	6	7	1
    UCD	3	1	1	1	5	3	4	2
    Cork	2	1	1	0	3	2	4	1
    Bray	4	1	1	2	3	5	4	-2
    Sligo	4	1	1	2	3	7	4	-4
Dundalk have withdrawn; everyone plays everyone else once only.

    What were the other results?
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

Just updated that league table now with a couple more results.

All the result I have to hand -

      Bray 1-1 Cork
      Bray 1-0 Shels
      Pat's 2-0 Bray
      Pat's 0-0 Sligo
      Shels 1-2 Cork
      Shels 2-1 Pat's
      Shels 1-1 UCD
      Sligo 2-1 Bray
      Sligo 1-3 Pat's
      UCD 1-2 Pat's
      UCD 3-0 Sligo

Our game against Cork has been postponed about three times at this stage - was supposed to have been last Tuesday most recently. No news as to what's happening with that. It's between Pat's, ourselves and Cork to win the group (competition? A post on the Shels forum says that these clubs organised the tournament themselves, which would mean there's only one group).

      Remaining/outstanding fixtures are
      Bray v. UCD
      Cork v. Pat's
      Cork v. Sligo
      Cork v. UCD

Don't know who's home or away though. The Bray-UCD match may have been played; Cork appear to have postponed all their matches for a variety of reasons (not always (though mostly) their fault, before any ranters come on...).

How many non U-21s can you play at U-21 level? Is this the Dr. Tony O'Neill Cup, Shield or whatever it is or is this something else?

          Three overage players.

Think this is just a pre-season tournament. The league starts next month.

Conor Sammon scored our equaliser against Shels.

We drew 1-1 against Bray, so the table is now as follows...

            Code:
            Team	P	W	D	L	F	A	Pts	GD
            Pat's	4	2	1	1	5	3	7	2
            Shels	5	2	1	2	7	6	7	1
            UCD	4	1	2	1	6	4	5	2
            Bray	5	1	2	2	4	6	5	-2
            Cork	2	1	1	0	3	2	4	1
            Sligo	4	1	1	2	3	7	4	-4
So to win, we have to beat Cork, hope Pat's don't beat Cork and hope Sligo win or draw against Cork. Which is probably an outside chance!

This is still going, apparently! Cork beat Pat's 2-0 during the week.

              Code:
              Team	P	W	D	L	F	A	Pts	GD
              Cork	3	2	1	0	5	2	7	3
              Pat's	5	2	1	2	5	5	7	0
              Shels	5	2	1	2	7	6	7	1
              UCD	4	1	2	1	6	4	5	2
              Bray	5	1	2	2	4	6	5	-2
              Sligo	4	1	1	2	3	7	4	-4
So now we have to beat Cork and hope they don't beat Sligo...
