              League Cup facts

              Our record overall is dire.
We played our first League Cup game in 1979. We did not win our First game till the beginning of the 1984/85 season.
The year we got to the final 2000/2001 was the first time we got past the first phase. In the present century it has improved and we have reached the quarter-final last year and the final this year.

Here's a challenge for you CTID - what's our Leinster Senior Cup record like? We've won the thing three times, so it has to be some way good! Ditto with the First Division Shield. I'm tired of you posting poor Cup records.
