Is it too early to ask about Pley-Off games?

      Perhaps mid-week week-end 27 Nov. 2005 + Mid-Week 30th Nov.
      Maybe, Maybe there's a play-off in December, I don't think so.
We'll have to use a European Tournament ( even if its invitation)
to sing the Tony Mac Song. The Scandis are always obliging with
      that sort of thing.

By the way, I presumed there would be a host of
Scandinavian v. eircom League fixtures when we made the choice to
summer soccer. Does any know where our tour of the Finnish Lakes went to?
" I'll go right up to here,
      it can't possibly hurt.
All they will find is my
      beer and my shirt."

Away to Shels means one thing. If we have 33 games this season we only have 16 home games which means one less programme to produce.
Besides it's nice to get an "easy" away game to break yourself in gently to the Premier Division!

Best fixture possible! After all the Cawley stuff! Start practicing your Ollie Byrne chants! Plus then Drogs at home second!!!

Two home ties against Drogs is good given their record in Belfield; can't remember where else we're going - think only once away to Longford and Harps? Will post fixtures up here shortly...

            Or in summary -

Drogs, Waterford, Derry, Bohs and Rovers home twice.
Shels, Bray, Cork, Pat's, Harps and Longford away twice.

16 home games, 17 away games.

Have come out well in terms of away trips - Cork, Harps and Longford twice. Rovers at home on the last day could be interesting!

Well unlike most of the Premier clubs we got a little first hand experience at the 33 game schedule and its pitfalls. Even with a rough deal last season we almost claimed the title. The ****ies already have their excuses planned for next season but I for one reckon these fixtures are what we make of them. Regretably we will only drag Cork City up for one trip to their not so happy hunting ground. Even though we face the two probable top sides away we actually get some of our hopefully more scalpable opponents at home e.g. Waterford, Derry and Rovers.

I'm going to miss the first two fixtures, won't be in the country.

Incidentally, Jason Byrne, Jim Crawford, Ger Rowe and David Crawley are all suspended for Shels. We're missing Tony Mac and Robin.

Crawford would hardly play but Crawley and Byrne missing is positive. Sadly they have the deepest squad in the league and we'll still be up against Crowe.

And Gary O'Neill Hopefully they'll play Glen Fitzpatrick though, anytime I see him play he's $hit.

Paraphrase of a quote from Robbie Martin on the text service - "We're not going to lie down for Shels. They're going to know they've been in a game." Nice and positive!
