    UCD eye Heffernan deal


    Premier Division newcomers UCD are believed to be preparing a contract offer for Sligo Rovers midfielder Colin Heffernan, who looks set to be one his way out of the Showgrounds club after just one season in the north-west.

    Heffernan joined Sligo from Limerick FC 12 months ago and enjoyed a good season on the wing for the Bit O’Red.

      Could well be seen as a replacement for Sully/cover for Gannon. Depending on which wing he's suited to. I don't know anything about the lad.
