    Hoops move for Rutherford

    Veteran winger Mark Rutherford has joined Shamrock Rovers and will go straight into the Hoops side for the Premier Division opener against former club Shelbourne on Friday night.

    Rutherford made his farewell appearance for Bohemians in a friendly against Finn Harps at Dalymount Park last Friday night.

      Shamrock Rovers have completed the signature of Mark Rutherford from rivals Bohemians.

      The Birmingham born winger has played for the Gypsies for over three years after arriving in Dalymount from Irish League side Newry Town.
