Tommy no bobs is going around telling people he's sold the club and has recouped the €1,000,000 euro of his own money that he put in. Some of that is certainly nonsense, all of it may be, I'm too tired to care anymore.

If the players take any sort of action now it would be understandable and fully supported by all City fans i'm sure. We must be the joke of the LOI , it's one problem after another with us this year and we're not done yet.Monday i'm afraid could have some serious consequences or CCFC.

Everything is grand now according to the PFAI's Stephen McGuinness - "back on track"

        A transient, horrible, fantastic dream,
Wherein is nothing yet all things do seem:
From which we're wakened by a friendly nudge
Of our bedfellow Death, and cry: "O fudge!"

Poor tactics from the players/ union - they should've reworded the ballot to include future payments, and had the option of immediate strike if the next installment is missed.

The way the Cork City players' ongoing wages payment problems have been dealt with by McGuinness / the PFAI, shows just how ineffective their so-caled union is.

They're 'in bed' with the FAI given that their offices are just down the corridor from Delaney and Gavin in the FAI HQ in Abbottstown

That may or may not be correct, but that's the fault of the players/ members for putting up with that.

                    Exactly.
It's all over Cork that not all players were paid and that the staff haven't got a penny.
Players are unionised though; to keep taking this over and over again is only making them a laughing stock.

The Farrelly Winding Up Order is being heard today.

Justice Laffoy presiding.. should be interesting.

Laffoy is that the judge that presided over the last one, does she even have a choice but to wind them up at this stage?

Just as well for him that she isn't doing this case as well:

Sounds like TNB has pulled another one out of the fire:

According to 96FM, agreement reached at the 11th hour between Gareth Farrelly and Tom Coughlan.

The case must still go before the court shortly.....
Incidentally- I wonder how the figures compare for 30% of the wage bill (that reputedly wasn't paid last week) and the 36k owed to Farrelly?

It would also seem like the rumours of other creditors joining the petition were inaccurate.

The next hurdle he'll be facing this afternoon will hurt a lot more when the details of the strike notice the players voted on comes out, a few papers picked up on it yesterday and it's been over our own forums since.

It's only a question of time now and whether Tommy can be pushed to one side before he kills the club or whether someone will have to start again from scratch.
