Best of luck to the new Cork City and congrats to FORAS on a job well done.

You would have to imagine that certain players who would have been playing for us in the Premier full time will have little choice but ti play part time/amatuer for us at least until June. They won't have a whole lot of options

Why? The other clubs are either cheats or not good enough!
Best of luck to Foras. I think they have gotten a lucky escape as if they had of gone in with the consortium it would have ended very badly in a year or two with no plan b.Comment

Where does this all leave Roddy Collins?
I assume that the club that'll be formed by FORAS will be a new entity and Collins won't necessarily be the new Manager. Is this correct?Neale Fenn on retiring: 'I think once you finish you might as well finish rather than making all sorts of comebacks.'Comment

Correct. Different company no
existing contracts need to be enforced. The looser the waistband, the deeper the quicksand..Comment

The great news is there is little chance Roddy will still have a job. There isn't a chance of anybody wanted him around in the first instance and secondly given he was reportedly on 500 Euro a week thats a quarter the planned weekly budget. Notwithstanding his contract wasn't binding. No doubt he'll leave a trail of debts and unpaid bills. No doubt he's a mouthpiece in influencing the seeking of a high court injunction. I wouldn't wish him on my worst enemy.

Why is everyone so happy with the ILC? So far I cannot see any official statement stating which league Bray are playing in next year. Why was this not sorted tonight? They could decide to give this to any first Division club who has a Premier licence.Aon, dó, trí, bhí mé i mo luí, thit mé den leaba, he! he! he!Comment
