    Shels announce Forsyth signing

    Shels announce Forsyth signing

Shelbourne have confirmed the acquisition of Republic of Ireland youth international Darren Forsyth for the 2009 League of Ireland season. Forsyth joined Shels from UCD last summer and has put pen to paper on a new one-year deal at Tolka Park.

The 20-year-old, who won recognition at Irish youth team level during his stint at Belfield, scored five goals in 11 appearances for Shels in the second half of last season.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Yeah due to unforseen circumstances him and shane barret are no longer signing. Have Ritchie Baker signing for us again now.
Shame about Forsyth, thought he was great for us last year.
