Cant see the FAI sanctioning it. Not after Limerick "insert 2nd part of name as apropriate"

There's not a hope in hell of this happening. The only reason it's news at all is that he's gone on record with The Echo. There's more solid bids in who are doing business behinds closed doors.

If he couldn't keep Limerick FC going how could he manage to keep Cork afloat considering their debts.

It's not that he couldn't keep Limerick going, it's that the FAI wanted shot of him so badly they were prepared to wipe out Limerick FC as a club. Can't see them entertaining a Danny Drew led Cork City

If Danny Drew takes over Cork City then expect sanctions of relegation and a minimum of a 20 point deduction.;):D

I am only surprised that Roddy and his building mates haven't been linked to Cork City.

Time yet, I suppose.

Hopefully some ones idea of a cruel joke.

* Paying 70% of the debt off over 10 years.
* Moving out of City Centre club shop despite the acknowledgement that we have a 5 year lease. How does he think he can get out if that? With economic downturn may not see a queue looking to take lease from him.

* Paying 70% of the debt off over 10 years. About €10 a week should do the trick ;)

Imagine a Danny/Roddy combo with Ski McGee as their assistant  Cork would be better off going under and banning football from the county forever

I don't think he's getting on with his building mates at the moment unfortunately for all connected with Cork. A falling out over some Louis Copeland suits apparently..

Apart from the fact that he came to us in Longford with his mates offering lego & old FA sticker albums to buy our club i dont see how The Rodster & the Pony he had with him could come up with the moolah to sort Cork Citys debts. You can be guaranteed that the thought crossed the Plasterers mind though.

Time yet, I suppose. His comments on MNS tonight made me suspicious. He managed to talk about CCFC for five minutes without hurling even one insult.
