On what basis are you making this allegation ?
On the basis that he didn't get a ticket I'd imagine. Which may not stand up in a court of law but then again, in this country...

Thats it jinxy, where are they with the positive news stories? No matter how much some clubs do busting their balls to make sure that they are on time with paperwork, pay their bills and continue to help the game develop in their area it doesnt get a mention.
As has been mentioned here before, one of the top PR Firms in the country is behind the All Ireland League plans. They know how the media works, and all the bad news is in the interest of their venture. I'm not saying they're behind all the bad news (if Clubs weren't overspending there'd be no bad news), but it would not surprise me if they were manipulating the press to some degree.

Whatever about locally, for the national media it's just not news. Also I think the public expects their clubs to be run reasonably so there's no real positivity attached to the clubs that do that, anymore than you or I will win any praise today for getting through the day without falling over several times. Not necessarily fair or anything of the sort but 'Club X Are Well Run' just doesn't look a particularly intriguing headline to average person and ultimately, while they may pretend otherwise, virtually all mainstream media exists to make a profit and not to further the spread of information.
True, just that sometimes the positive stuff at clubs beyond the day to day running go unnoticed or applauded but the slightest sniff of trouble and they are bateing down the doors.

I gave a stewart 20 euro and I got in without buying a ticket. it was close to HT and no tickets were being sold.
Ive no idea what he did with that 20 euro.

To further muddy the waters my friend and I arrived at half-time at the Galway-Athlone game on Friday and just strolled in without paying. He wanted to go back and pay but I talked him around. :)

They can't be too stuck for cash then so. Looks like Galway have cash to throw away this year.

You realise that this type of behaviour really mucks up the attendances thread.
Which reminds me, I attended they MUFC v Limerick game, but only stayed to half time. I have a season ticket. Do I count as 0, 0.5 or 1?
My 1 year old daughter was with me. She didn't pay and doesn't have a season ticket. She also left at half-time. Does she count as 0, 0.25, 0.5 or 1? Sorry to go OT

For the purposes of the attendance thread? You have a combined total of 25 for that game...

I should add that I didn't go to the super away fans enclosure either but despite making my support for Athlone fairly vocally (they're basically a retirement home for Limerick players at this stage) there was not a bad word cast in my direction.

(I really wish you did not show the determination of the instructed Judges.)
It is very clear your determined support does not add up to one whole person. It is hoped that in future you make a more determined effort with regard to opposition players.

Not much in the Cobh article to cry about.
I'd imagine that some companies would have been on the phone to Cobh first thing yesterday morning wanting to know why they were not on the list of creditors.

Well on my previous trip to Terryland (Galway Vs. Cobh on a Monday a while back) there was no need for me to heap scorn or derision on Galway players because a knot of their own support did it instead. Current favourite Jay O'Shea had many, many cruel things said about him... outrageous I tell you! :)
