I only caught the last 5 minutes plus injury time but there was enough excitement to fill a full game. Don't know how Hughes put that shot over the bar.
if Drogs had better players, they'd have won.Incisive! ;)

Makes me think, pity about that late goal in the first leg.
Don't think so. From the half hour I watched and comments on here, it seems Dinamo only really bothered when they only had a one-goal cushion. For the second half, for example, they had plenty of dangerous frees, were causing Drogheda loads of problems (Drogs were coping very well, it must be said, but they had a lot of work to do) and then got the penalty and went to sleep. Had they drawn the first leg, they wouldn't have gone to sleep as soon. I think Drogheda "timed" their late attack well; the second goal rattled Kiev and suddenly they had five minutes to hang on and Drogs had everything to give for just five minutes; gave Kiev very little margin for error and as a result, they shat themselves figuratively.
IMO, if Drogs had better players, they'd have won.
Imagine that! :p

Fair play drogheda. A credit to the league with a great performance. If that was a Pats player who missed at the end I would have been devastated.
