Cheers for that it was a good game. Sorry i havent had access to FOOT for a while. They are fantastic facilities that Nenagh AFC have best ive seen anywhere in Tipp. Celtic played well in the first half but died a little in the second we had only played 1 game in about 6 weeks so there was plenty of rust there but ye pushed us close and were unlucky our keeper made a couple of good saves.
Cheers!:ball:

christopher higgins and benny ryan from cahir are the two names mentioned to be signing for saints, will need 1 or 2 more along with them
ya true benny and higgins would be 2 superb signings. another 2 players of similar quality and saints would be more than a match for town next season

yes I heard that. they don't have a replacement yet. that sounds as if Charlie stepped down. I don't know who they will get. I was tlaking to a Town man last night and he said that they had somebody lined up but that has fallen through

Sorry to hear that. He will be a hard man to replace. I don't know who they will get. Martin Quinlivan would be ideal but I can't see that happening. Maybe Paul Scully?? or Jamie O'Flaherty, he did a brilliant job with the youths this season

i heard yesterday that ted o connor has signed for town unknown to peake. any truth in this??????

cosgrove from fairview rangers signing for saints, doubt o connor has signed for town considering town have no manager in place to sign anyone, would expect town and saints maybe to try tempt a few from peake though
is that ross or trevor cosgrave who has signed for saints

Heard last night that Martin Quinlivan is the new manager of Town. Jamie O'Flaherty is his assistant. This is great news. Hopefully he can do as well as he did in 1994 when he managed Town to win the FAI.
My only worry is that sometimes you should never go back but he is a top manager.
Hoefully good times ahead

Hey hooper where did you pull those names out of! I see your back to telling tall tales and the League hasnt started. No one has signed for Saints yet and that is from a very very very reliable source. Did you ever think of writing fiction novels you would be good at it!:D

Thats great news. A really good choice by Town. They have certainly replaced a great manager with another one. Not bad for a commitee that gets a lot of stick
Best of luck to them.

yes because a player never told someone he was staying and ended up leaving......that never happens.....you seem like you have an agenda all of a sudden pearoso....im simply putting information i was told onto a forum for chat....its the off season.....some of it will materialise some of it wont...players promise everyone they will sign at this time of the year...now be careful not to fall getting down off that high horse of yours

So lads any big moves going to go on this summer? Michaels and Villa will have to strenghten in a few areas to compete with town again this year or will we have a new side to challenge town this season? Good to hear Cashel town have gone back training this week with a bit of luck they might establish themselves in the premier and eventually be challenging to win it.

i hear villa are back training too (minus a few players however). you can never tell what they will be like. i can see a big season from the saints, apparently they are chasing big time in limerick, also heard from 1 of their players that barry ryan will be pre season training in tipperary. town will again be the team to beat, interesting to see wat celtic will do. borris and cahir for the drop

Town are going to be down a lot of last years panel. Rory Kiely and David McGrath gone to Cork City. Michael Coady gone to Carrick. Robbie Costigan will be committed to Tipp Football. Not a great start for new manager. These players will be hard to replace

Mcgrath , Coady and Kiely will be huge losses for town and to the league they were the 3 best up and coming players in the league. Good to see Villy are back training early Fitness was something that they were lacking in the 2 games against town at the end of the season maybe this could be their year. Barry Ryan would be a great sigining for Michaels but i cant see him leaving Villa especially after wining the player of the year. I heard the other day that Pj Mooney has signed back to Villa this year.
hooper74
25/06/2009, 4:04 PM
that is a massive blow to town....coady is potentially the best player in the league and kiely and mcgrath were excellent this season....great opportunity for saints and villa to capitalise now....all the top 3 will be looking to add players which should make things interesting....would agree that barry ryan would be a great signing for saints but if there is any truth in o connor signing for town then i bet that is where he would go too but my moneys on both of them staying with villa

Coady hasnt gone to Carrick.Theres a fair chance he will end up with the Rock, along with 4 or 5 from Carrick.
If the Rock get there act together and get a good start to the season they may well be a dark horse for some type of Honours.

tommy is on the better side of average, good honest player but nothing special. i honestly dont think he will be a major addition to ye. hearing lots of rumours bout barry ryan id say he is almost definately going from peake but doubt it is to michaels.
