I thought a draw looked fair but I only saw the second half thanks to King wanting to watch Arsenal instead. :D

I'll never pick Arsenal over Pike B again.

And who was best for Pike?? ;)

Young guy up front was tasty and it's good ye have Robert Sheedy back. He is solid. You did well also. Thought the nugget was going to clinch it with his first touch. Park are decent also, their new centre back was badly needed and as already been said, Scholes was excellent. I feel we'll be relegated with the way teams have started:) 10/1 from evens for the title and Larry White favourite in the sack race:D On another topic, did anyone see Jimmy Clancy on Nationwide last night?

I missed it but got a call from our Galway midfielder to say he was at the baton world championships in UL. You know Jimmy, he could pop up anywhere.

Not a great start for Shelbourne. Shels have beaten Holycross with ease for the last few seasons. Hope they can get back on track after that loss..

Caherdavin 0 - 3 Janesboro(tom mc,tony curtis, adrian healy). Caherdavin very poor most of there players are overweight and very slow.Boro should have put 6 or 7 past them. Boro still have a bit of work to put in but look strong, have a good squad this year. The greenhills pitch is a disgrace if thay keep playing there someone will get badly hurt.

Thats some walloping for The 'Davin...I think they will struggle...

Yeah one of the Caherdavin lads was very impressed with them and said they were second to Boro all over the pitch.

Ourselves, we improved as the game went on and the football is coming back. Did everything but score. One header even came off the crossbar down onto the line and back out. Bruff are a young side who play football and have a nice bit of pace. Keeper did well alright considering he wasnt even their main keeper.

Yeah it will be a good game, pike were very impressive during their draw with park and considering the rain that was falling passed the ball excellently so will be a proper game of football.

a bit of luck in front of goal is all we need lol

Boro are flying at the moment and are scoring for fun, setting the standard for rest of us

good win for the view, must say view looked strong tonight, very solid at the back, back 4 and keeper look to be very well drilled and experienced, and set them up for a good win. Id say they'l be vulnerable to the younger teams though, credit where its due i was very impressed with their new keeper.sean lipper and martin neary are still fine players, paul o donnel came on as a sub too.

what was their line up? who was in goals for them?

The Knockainey juggernaut continues to roll on. They showed their class at home tonight and justified their title favourites tag with an emphatic 5-1 demolition of Holycross. The Cross had no answers as Knock cut loose and in 17 year old Liam O Shea must have one of the best underage players in the county. Came on for 10 minutes in second half and scored one of the goals of the season (or any season for that matter). Going to take some stopping lads. Other title hopefuls beware! ;)

would agree very solid at back won nearly everything in the air at corners / free-kicks against them ( was that derek whyte playing sweeper) played a lot of nice football from the back up seem to have good blend of experience through team.. i thought they were the better team for most of the game.. as for park some nice footballers but seem to be missing a couple of experienced players they looked a bit shakey at the back lot of miskicks and panicked clearances.. and midfield very quiet in 2nd half. very surprised they only made 1 subsitution when they went 1 -0 down took of wrong player also ( butler ) would have taken off the number 9 instead dont know his name :ball:

Pike B 2-3 Cals.

Very disappointed with this result. We led twice in the game only to be pegged back by a couple of debatable goals. Cals then got stronger as the game wore on and got a third with twenty minutes remaining. Even after this, and with tired legs we created several more chances which we failed to take.
My opinion of Cals is a good one though. Very very big team, fit, young and a few nice footballers in Jefferey Mc and Eddie Lee. They'll be in the shake up for this league no doubt. On another night we would have won 6-3!!! But not to be. On to Coonagh..
