Well the one I've got has an orange "?" (probably stays orange until the Visa payment has cleared). If in doubt ring your credit card company like gspain says.

Yep that's what mine says. The status at the top of the application says "Application Pending to Pay".

Cheers Mickey T. My only concern now is mine doesn't say "to pay", just "application pending". It's on the brother in laws credit card, so ill have to get him to check the card.

Just called the credit card company and they say the payment is being processed - So all I need now is the small matter of Ireland qualifying - By the way I got a TST-6

Mine was like that and then went pending to pay as opposed to just pending. I had no pending credit card charge yesterday but did today. I'd say yours just hasn't been updated yet. Probably worth another call tomorrow to your credit card company.

It seems to be progressing slowly.

I just hope I'm not jumping the gun because of a pending credit card transaction as they haven't taken any money they have just checked that they can. I'd be really gutted now if I got less tickets or none.

Were you able to apply for TST and individual match tickets with the same application? I could only go for the TST which thankfully I got as the have debited my credit card. But I'd like to pick up some individual match tickets too.

I know of another applicant who got 3 out of 7 having applied for Cat 1s in Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth. Happy enough as they are planning a holiday as well and picked the nice places and the top seeds in the groups.

Sounds like there may have been more demand for the top seeds in the group (makes sense) and for these venues - think they got 2 in Durban and 1 in Port Elizabeth..

That exactly what I get too. I rang up my credit card company but they said that there was no transaction pending, so I am not holding my breath. It does not look good, but things may be different for you.

No. monery will be taken straight away.

If Ireland doesnt qualify you will be refunded less a Service Fee amount which is 10% of the price of the group matches included in the TST for transactions in US Dollars is: 48 USD for Category 1 TST Series, 36 USD for Category 2 TST Series, 24 USD for Category 3 TST Series

Nightmare... my credit card was cloned (someone was using it to try and purchase stuff on one of those 360 money card sites) and so the bank have cancelled it. I can't seem to change the card details on the fifa ticket site, it looks like I might not get the tickets now as I can only use the new cards not the old ones.

Dont worry about this, I had the same problem, get your new cards issued ASAP (if you havent done it already). Then log back into the system and you can pay for them with a different / new card (so long as the cardholder name is the same as the applicant name).

I applied for a few individual games again. Took a good few attempts at logging in and the multiple attempts at submitting the application but eventually got it submitted half an hour after they started selling...can just wait and hope now.

Just had confirmation that my second TST-3 application was unsuccessful as well.

I checked my application for the second round- I just went for single match tickets this time- got five out of the seven matches that I applied for so I'm fairly happy with that.

My brother got tickets in the second round 3 out of 4 applied for. I applied for one more game - June 18th in Cape Town C1 v C3 but was unsuccessful.

I've got a pretty good schedule now to include 9 games in 9 venues in 8 days (2 games on the 19th) I need Cape Town on the 18th and Ellis Park on June 21st. Hopefully we'll qualify and screw it all up.

Applying for Cat 1s has definitely worked although it is expensive.

Got 3 Tst 4 tickets, which I'm happy with. Going for Category 1 obviously worked, but as already said it means it's going to work out to be expensive!

I managed to get tickets for 5 games so far (in phase 2) - 3 in Jo'burg and 2 in Durban. Unfortunately it looks like all the games in Cape Town are fully subscribed for the moment (no more tickets available in this phase). I'll try to get to as many games as possible but still plenty of time. A month before Germany I had only two tickets but managed to make 7 games in total.

The sales process is much more tedious than the last couple of World Cups - in 2006 it was very much like Ticketmaster and you knew within a minute whether you had the ticket or not. This time around you apply and then wait 10 days to find out the answer -it plays havoc with your nerves!

Probably best to go for a request for the more expensive tickets first (and say that'll you'll accept cheaper ones). I'm sure that everybody is looking for the cheapest one's.
