wtf? I excluded you from that comment because you would've somehow managed to twist it into an arguement, you still managed it,sad child.

Btw everybody(except brewer!),I started this thread to talk about poor refereeing in general. I know it might look stupid because we have just been knocked out of the cup,but i really do feel the refs are poor in the league and I actually wanted to talk about it until brewer started talking sh1te. Obviously this thread is doomed for the rubbish bin!

Your just an armchair supporter :)

Jennings placed the ball into the custody of the attacker.
Yes, he did pass the ball to him.

Good view from your seat?

I missed the game cos im doing the leaving cert. After the leaving cert im doing the following:

Saturday after the leaving i'll miss one of the best nights out because I'll be at a rovers game. The next saturday i'm getting the train to dublin, staying overnight there, getting a plane to cork and then a taxi to cobh, watch the rovers game and then back again. Would an "armchair" supporter do this?

FFS lads, grow up...or at least wait til the school yard to fight:p

Buttimer was a complete joke, so was Eddie Foley as linesman. Hopefully MNS will highlight this, something needs to be done as these people are affecting results and clubs season's.

Reiteior(sp?), just because you did a ref's course/are a ref or whatever, doesn't mean you have to stand up for them the whole time, you live in England so probably don't see half the crap they do on the pitch. Fair enough the ref's are an easy target a lot of the time but unless you know what went on tonight, you shouldn't bother coming on here and say someone is whining.

Sligoman - I haven't got a problem with "constructive" analysis of a refereeing performance.

However - I see week on week here yet another thread from someone with a personal gripe ranting on hilariously about refereeing performances.

It gets tired and staid after a while - and one reason why this place has deteriorated in the past few years.

And fyi - I make it to approximately 75% of Bohs games home and away each season (at great cost to myself i'll add as I use my entire annual leave allocation from work to book off to go to these games, meaning I don't actually get a proper holiday) - i know what goes on thank you very much.

Anyway - if the powers that be had any nous about them - they'd consign this sorry thread with all it's fighting and bitching to the Rubbish Bin. Somehow I don't think that'll happen...

I didn't say "buttimer cost us" or "blah blah blah". Get your facts right. Anyway your sidetrackin, you asked me to tell you one contribution the ref made to a goal,I did,now your trying to cause other arguement, cos you've been proven wrong. Don't bother, save both of us the hassle, you've turned this thread to sh1te!

Emmm...

We probably would have won that game tonight if it wasn't for buttimer.

The ref at tonight's game was pretty card-happy, but other than that his performance was decent.

In fairness, despite what it's called, most of the posts have had the sound of toys being launched from prams.

Might start a thread on how Sligo fans are , with the exception of a couple, the most deluded, self-obsessed bunch of whinging funts in the League and on this forum.

I'd wager that it'd get binned faster than this thread...

To be fair this is our main forum,if other teams had all their fans on this forum its would be crazy.

well in all fairness, when I talked about bad decisions by refs throughout the season,I clearly stated that numerous decisions have gone our way too

lads poor oficials have been a problem in the LoI for years now and as rovers fan said we dont just give out about refs favouring the other team. I dont know why people are arguing about something that has absolutly nothing to do with what this thread is about.

I'll give one example(I'm not going to look through the whole thread): you tell me I can't pass judgement on the game cos i wasn't there, then you pass judgement on the game that you weren't at. I would define that as bullsh... By trying to dig your way out of a hole, you avoided the facts that showed you were wrong and proceded to post more bullsh... Btw "you got served",don't deny it!

Seriously mate, how old are you??

This is probably the most childish/immature thread EVER on this site... and there have been a few. Grow up and stop whinging:ball:

I was anyway. I'm moving it to the Sligo section and let someone else deal with it.

Just wasted 5 minutes of life reading this crap.

A ref made a mistake. Big ****ing deal, happens every game. guarentee you he made a mistake in sligo's favour during the game too.

Only losers moan about the ref
