A lot of shops that stock the magazine have sold out. If you want to buy it email info@onsidemagazine.ie and I will send you a copy.

I emailed weeks ago and was told by someone that you wouldn't be doing subscriptions Fiend.

Can you confirm if this has now changed, as myself and I imagine a few others would be interested in buying by post.

Thanks.

I got a copy at the Shelbourne-Wexford match in Tolka late last season (they were being given out free). I thought it was a good read, slickly produced and overall an impressive mag. I would have been willing to buy it on a regular basis but couldn't find it for sale anywhere.

I'm aware of 2 proper LOI magazines that lasted for a while, and a couple more that were flash in the pans.

- Soccer Reporter (late 70's/early 80's)
- Soccer Magazine (mid 80's to early 90's).

Onside lasted one issue, and I think there was a Cork-based magazine - possibly only about Cork/Munster football (cic ?) that lasted a couple of issues as well.

If anyone has any issues of Soccer Reporter or Soccer Magazine they're looking to off-load, let me know and I'll pay a decent price for them. Thanks.

It was called 'Spotter', there were three issues and it was excellent, full colour, covered football in Munster. Really top notch effort, just a pity it didn't get the sponsorship.
