ARGHHHH why did you say it!!!
We been keeping schtum about it for a while now.
Its ever according to RSSSF unless rovers did it back in the 4 in a row seasons.
Gone now that you put the mockers on it ...well done :(

lol sure, we should have been 3 or 4 up at HT but we keep sitting back on leads, considering you scored the same amount of goals that we have conceded this season makes yah wonder what score it would ahve been if we had a fit defence.
Only one Cork player pats fans fear and you playing him as a centre back :p

 If we're going to play the "should'ves, could'ves" game, we had far more chances than you did.
That game means nothing.

So you also reckon if gamble was playing you would have won?
As i was replying to a cork fan who was playing the "Should have, would have, could have game"
In the spirit of the game if we had a fit defence and quigley put away his chances we would have won 79-0

My plan. Obviously. You may have spotted my avatar.
Thought we were very poor & 2-2 would have flattered us as second was a gift from Barry Ryan. Not seen the tv replays but was not surprised to see second yellow. Pats are set up nicely for counter attacking using Fahys vision for the O'Neill & Quigleys pace. We are badly lacking pace in the attacking areas of the pitch. As well as the direct free kicks Fahy takes the best indirect free kicks in the league. I think Pats may struggle against more physical sides as they are a bit lightweight. Disappointed with the crowd which can't have been more than 2500.
Edit: RTE report says
Fahey secured the points for Pat's when the action switched immediately back to the other end and he buried the ball into the back of Devine's net after a scramble in the City goalmouth.

Not seen the tv replays but was not surprised to see second yellowThats the problem, you'd half expect it from Danny. Unfortunately, what actually happened was the kid jumped into Danny, Danny tried to get out of the way, yer man fell awkward, and the St Pats bench acted like he'd been shot. Ref pulled out the yellow on impulse, to the chuckles from the satisfied St. Pats bench.

Is this a league game? Why is it being played on a monday
It is a league game, the original fixture was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch as far as I remember.

Bray Rovers was a very poor game tonight. Bray settled for 1-0 once they scored and Rovers couldn't break us down. They only created any real chances in the last ten minutes and even then they headed straight at Skippy twice.
People complained about Tomney before. Well, he gives a lot of stupid frees. Players walking into opponents were winning frees. Rovers fans were calling him "Oompa Loompa".

One of the worst Harps performances I have ever seen tonight and it had to be against the muckers, truly awful stuff.
We will be relegated this year and the only question is which 2 teams will join us.

As a Derry fan, it was hard to see a how bad Harps were tonight. 10 nil plus would have been a fairer score.
I do hope they stay up but dont think it will happen.

BTW only about 250 Harps fans there...but only about 2,600 Derry fans there. Has to be the worst Derby game crowd in years.
Still prob the biggest league cup att til the final.

Word from the game is "Oh Yes he was". He's a complete donkey. Not as bad as Richie Baker though. Still scratch my head to think of why anyone ever rated him.

Saw replay on TV last night it is fairly obvious not even an actual foul. My excuse is I was 50-60 yards away but ref was right next to it & obviously influenced by the Pats players tumble.

You can expect some abuse if I see you in the library...(Pats fan from 4th year by the way!!)
What? I thought I had the monopoly on being the Pats fan in fourth year - are you saying for my entire college career I've been living a lie? </college backchat>
Murphy definitely didn't deserve that second yellow card, I think we can all generally agree on that one - however it is predestined that the ref will make one absolutely shocking error for every TV game. In fairness the sending off seemed to buoy Cork on, more than give Pats much of an advantage. It was a purely accidental collision from Haverty, though, although the Pats bench did seem to enjoy it...:p

Richie Baker is one of the best in the leauge on his day , and big ibrahima had a decent enough game tbh .Saying that we didnt really have to get out of first gear against the likes of shels .Still felt great beating you though :D if you would just go and beat dundawk it would make my week .
