I suppose its early in the week but lets try to get as many people to get to Section O on Saturday night bearing in mind the sad news we heard this week. Lets give the guy as big a send off as we can. I post the above with all due respect to those who knew him & his family. I didnt know they guy personally well myself but I knew who he was & talked to him in manys the drunken hysterics in Flansiro. The fact that he was a Section O regular means we have a duty that night so get your singing voices ready & bring all you can muster.
Lets get those 3 points.

Yeah it'd be a good thing to do, I'd be hoping all Town fans try and make the game. I'll be at it anyhow. I'm sure it'll be a sad moment for many of the lads who knew him well.

We've allready got a few plans for saturday,i've got a flag in the making at the moment thats gona spell out endas name, similar to the 8 seperate section o flags.A few other lads are gona be making another banner aswell. Was thinking it would be a nice touch if everyone whos not holding a banner of some sort could bring a scarf and hold it up during the minutes silence.Hopefully there'll be a good crowd out there and hopefully some people might come over who dont usually come to section o or even town games to give Enda one last send off...

great idea bosco you can count me for that.. it was sad and surreal at the removal last nite .. I was expecting sonic to come out of the closet...

It really hit home last nite. lets all give enda the sendoff he thouroughly deserves...

I hope you wont mind if a few Mons fans make their way to section O. Sonic was the first person I got up the nerve to give an infraction to on here so has a special place in my heart! Would like to join you as you pay tribute.

One of our fans and committee members was very sick all last year but is thankfully doing ok now but I know how much people at your club can come to be a part of your life and mean so much to you. Many nites I cried at the thoughts of losing our friend and therefore have an inkling as to how you might be feeling.

(I hope we wont be gifting you the 3 points though)

I'l hold up my scarf, probably not in section O but I'd still like to do my bit.

Certain stewards may have to be made know that both sets of supporters are meeting at section O. It could save a lot of hassle which will probably be caused by the stewards

Magicme
18/04/2008, 6:04 PM
Well it will prob only be myself, my kids and 3 of my mates (all female) going over so dont think there should be a problem. Also will only be there for Sonic's tribute as I will need somewhere to sit to do live internet updates on the game.

due to work i won't get down. I'd be grareful if someone could take a pic of the banner to Enda and post it here or a link to it.

Also raise a glass to him in JJ's for all of us who won't be there, give Sonic a proper Section O send off.

Mark.

Was beautiful Deecay, they held up flags with Enda's name on it and brought a lump to everyone's throat.

As Martinho said to me it was like Enda was looking down on ye tonight. Well done Longford.

Well done everybody Saturday night. I heard the minutes silence was well observed & the banners looked class. Despite starting this thread I wasnt able to make it up for the game as I was at home with the flu & missed 3 days work last week with it. Anyway well done all & thankfully we got 3 points as well!!!
See you all in Wexford on Friday.
