I check out Foot.ie every week for LTFC news and chat but have never bothered to post before however after Saturday night I felt the need!!....I've been going to Town games for a good number of years and seen the bad days....the good days....and back to where we are now....but I think the tribute paid by Section O to Enda Muldowney (RIP, who I didn't know) on Saturday night just showed that whilst de Town are not a big club that there is a beauty in being small!!...the respect shown by all in the ground and the response by the players after the minutes silence was sincere and honest, I was proud to be an LTFC fan, there are many times when I leave the Flansiro after poor performaces, being frozen or soaked to the bone, having missed some other Saturday night attraction and ask myself why do I keep going back for more!!!....well I always go back for more....and hopefully always will go back, and after Saturday night it brought it home to me that LTFC is a great club and means a lot to a lot of people...and me......there's more to LTFC than just football...it's a community of like minded fans who share a common dream.......

I hope you wont mind if a few Mons fans make their way to section O. Sonic was the first person I got up the nerve to give an infraction to on here so has a special place in my heart! Would like to join you as you pay tribute.

One of our fans and committee members was very sick all last year but is thankfully doing ok now but I know how much people at your club can come to be a part of your life and mean so much to you. Many nites I cried at the thoughts of losing our friend and therefore have an inkling as to how you might be feeling.

(I hope we wont be gifting you the 3 points though)

magicme.lose me????: not a chance. someone has to keep an eye on u during our away trips.:) mysympathies to all at LTFC on ur loss. nice tribute too. hope 2b fit enough to make it to the flansiro next time

Marty you pup! From now on eye to eye contact and your gaze cannot wander.

Monaghammer, too true, we couldnt get rid of ya if we tried! Just you gave us a frignt so seeing the Longford fans going through the loss of Sonic made me realise how things could have been similar for us.

Bertie, I came back to the thread to see if many were coming down Friday. Instead I found someone who shares the same feeling for the game as me. Well said, I can add no more
