The legendary Brendan Bradley attends most Harps games. We have quite a few ex-players who attend on a regular basis.

Famous eL fans, maybe not household names but at least they would be known locally and possible nation wide. Not ex-players etc. or people who were involved in the game, more so people involved in other sports, industries or fields......

I presume the Galway boys will lay claim to Padraig O Ceidigh (sic) of Aer Arann.
Used to be a director of the club. This thread contains enough Z-List celebs to make an RTE reality TV Show....... I'm a Celebrity LOI fan... Get me out of here!

He probably did, I remember a few Rovers fans saying that he was a Rovers fans on here before.
However he mentioned many times on his radio programme that he was a UCD supporter.

Anytime you ever read about him and it mentions his interests it's mentioned he supported UCD. Sure even a young Pineapple Stu used to go watch Shamrock Rovers.

And some of us Rovers fans even went to see UCD during our "we'll never go to Tolka" days. During one of these sunday outings I did see Dermot Morgan, but I think it was a UCD v Rovers match which doesn't really help.

So despite him been a self-confessed UCD fan you still want to claim that he supported Rovers?

I met a journo from the Philadelphia Inquirer a few years back who is a huge Finn Harps fan. At that time he was travelling over to watch 3 or 4 matches a year. The funny thing was he was Polish American and had no Irish blood.

I know Jim Corr is a Dundalk fan (not a great boast), but I sat beside Stan at a game many years ago (during his Villa days). Joe Elliott used to go to LSL games back in the late-80's, I saw him watching Ballinteer Wickham back in 1989 (I can't remember the opposition but it was southside and they were playing on the pitch next to us).
Brad Pitt was at a Pats game back in 1996 or 1997 as a special guest of Mr. Dolan, he was making a movie in Kilmainham Jail.

I remember seeing the drummer from the Sultans of Ping in St Mels for a Cork City game, 15+ years ago I'd say, so not sure if he's still a fan or indeed still the drummer in the Sultans.
Dermot Ahern
Surely he has better things to be doing like representing the people of Louth in government

Gas. I saw him in Mels too. Morty McCarthy. Think he was involved in the CCFC fanzine too at the time but open to correction. He turns up on a few Sultans vids wearing the strip too. "Give him a ball and a yard of grass" and " No more plastic pitches" were/are to choons
Bohs:
Johnny Logan (Eurovision winner)
Willie Walsh (CEO of British Airways)
Martin King (TV3 Weatherman)
Ive see Martin King & Johnny Logan at matches before, wouldn't even know what Willie Walsh looks like.
Samuel L is Bohs till he dies.
