They're subs used. Both had the requisite five on the bench.

I know the Cork fans haven't been praising him but I find the Longford fans who claimed him as great laughable. He won the cups a few times but loads of managers win cups.
Most of the time Longford were a mid-table side that failed to sparkle and flopped in Europe. They were relegated for off the pitch reasons last season and they would only have finished 8th, iirc, with the extra points. Matthews isn't a bad manager but he's not a good one either. If Longford had stayed up last season, yes, he would've done a good job but nearly doing it is not good.
I can't for the life of me understand why Longford fans rate him so highly. Obviously Cork fans need time to judge him.
He's great because he won 2 cups, with players who at the time, were nobodies, and were part time. We never had aspirations to win the league, mid table was always where we aimed for. Unfortunately our money troubles caught up with us last season, but even through it all, Mathews stuck with us when really, he could have taken the easy way out and walked away.

Just re-read my posts, sorry I assumed you were talking about the points deduction last year.
No. Was just saying that hte fact that he had less money to work with and a worse squad has to be taken into account for the lower place finishes.
