Premier Division average - 1,913 (1,687; 1,535; 1,759; 1,853)
First Division average - 643 (722; 570; 520; 512)

Overall average - 1,338 (1,235; 1,070; 1,195; 1,218)

Who said crowds were down? While not 100% accurate due to some estimates. I also think the estimates this season are a lot more accurate than a few years ago.

sounds exactly right if you take away the season ticket holders! add them to it and you get about 500 max I think! wasn't a good attendance at all :(

Unfortunately for the cash-strapped Suirside club, the fans failed to answer repeated appeals for support and, on a beautiful, warm night, only 320 turned up including season-ticket holders.

Should have read all the threads before you posted blue-army, you're not helping to clear up the confusion, that's for sure.
It's already been well discussed that 320 was put about as an official figure, but that it was clearly not the full attendance figure. Most of the press people questioned it and came to the conclusion that it was the 'paid in' figure. The RTE lad didn't, obviously, or didn't change his copy accordingly.
However we're only arguing another hundred and fifty or so, and the point remains that, despite all the appeals for help and support, once again the 'football people' of Waterford have in no uncertain terms shown their contempt and disdain for the club. The people knocking the ****e out of themselves running WUFC have to start asking exactly who they're doing it for.

what? 1200? where? there were no more than 800 at tha game last nite.. even elevenaside.com says a small crowd 'Bray Wanderers ended a run of four straight defeats to record a 2-1 win over bottom of the table Cobh Ramblers on front of a small crowd at St Colman’s Park on Saturday evening.'

Well, depending of course on whether or not they're making a profit on it.

Used to be the case that for some reason, our attendances excluded season ticket holders, of which there are close to 1000.

Last nights crowd looked quite big, but I think it was because of the nice weather. A few people chose to sit in the St Annes leaving spaces in the other stands.

Shed wasn't packed as it usually is if there's a bumper crowd.

Just under 4k isnt bad, though we should be getting higher, but I thought wed have less because of the hurling.

He said we get about 2,000.

He also said something confusing about ´paying supporters´as well - as if our large amount of season ticket holders didn´t exist.
