It was flicked back across after Nani's corner. I can't remember who flicked it I guessed at vidic or ferdinand

random guess at 2 out of 22 players?
it was a lyon defender, therefore nani gets credited with the assist it was a good ball in too

Even I thought he was good today.
Great to see the legend that is Darren Fletcher get a game and play so well. I really can't see why people think he should be sold. Great option to have and he always plays well against the big teams.
On a lesser more painful note...........Louis Saha is back. I reckon we'll get 2 weeks out of him.

Since when did Fletcher become a legend? Seriously that criteria for being a legend is get lower and lower every day it seems

Well Nani was useless today.
Everytime he got the ball he lost it and set up another Chelsea attack. Nani was the one who lost the ball for Ballacks first and he kept doing it after that. He couldn't pass either and he wouldn't beat Ashley Cole with a stick never mind with the ball at his feet!
Just like Park vs Barcelona I couldn't understand how he got 90 mins football and especially with Tevez on the bench.

Dont forget that Nani and Anderson cost a combined £30 million.

Id expect them to be half decent for that outlay.

Nani has been inconsistent so far for United. He's shown class in patches this season. He'll probably be a good signing for them. I don't understand United fans hyping up of Anderson. He's settled well into the league and has been good for them but most of their fans make out as though he's been one of the best players in the league this season. From what I've seen of him he's still got a lot of developing to do.

From what i've seen Anderson is worth €29,500,000 and Nani is worth €500,000.

I say it before, slagging off a 19-year-old is just not right, a footballer is generally rated in the mid 20s, wait 10 years and than make your judgement.

I agree with that. He wastes possession a lot in games, tries the killer ball too often. Still behind Scholes, Carrick and Hargreaves in the pecking order imo. No doubt he's going to be a quality player though.

He's 21 actually. I agree with your general point though. Like Anderson he has shown plenty sparks of brilliance but overall has been inconsistent as jmurphy previous alluded to. I think Nani is going to be a great player- possibly as good as Ronaldo. His technique is better than Ronaldo's, as is his ability to work in small spaces. We will see a big improvement next season.

Some players never progress for whatever reason.Reyes came to Arsenal with a huge reputation from Spain and after shining brightly for a few months seem to run out of ideas.

I still think he'll come good. He was poor on Saturday but so were a lot of Man Utd players.

Sorry for going slightly off-topic here, but I've just been informed by a lady-friend that 'Evra' is also the name of a contraceptive patch. I thought it was worth noting.

Nani should get a 5 game ban for that.

And what should Lucas Neill get for sneakily pinching someone in the testicles?

Lucas Neil is a devious little ****er who is a dirt bird and Nani is a fool who fell for it and then made it worse by diving. What a couple of fannies as the boys from Still Game would say.

After yet another poor display for United the question has to be asked........How many more chances can Fergie give to this poor excuse for a footballer?

He has talent, but my god he never uses his head on the pitch. Decision making is woeful at times. But there definitely is talent there.

Obviously it wasn't serious, that's what made it stupid. I made a comment about Nani, and you weren't able to make a serious reply to it.

Actually I agree with what you said in your post 100%.
His decision making is woeful and no he never uses his head which what drives me mad more than anything else and yes he has talent but it's not enough talent to play for Man United.

This is his third season now and while he could still come good the question you have to ask is has he justified his price tag and it's an ephatic no. Floats in and out of games but overall not good enough for Man U.

I thought he has a relatively successful first season with United. Patchy-yes but contribted well enough scored a few goals, notably against Arsenal and Liverpool. Last season was practically a write off. Ferguson hardly used him at all really and he was poor when he did play. I think he has ability but he's very frustrating at times and I'd say he's a bit of a gobsh!te. We don't really have anything else much better at the moment though so hopefully he'll come into a bit of form. I wonder will this Tosic guy ever get a run? players from those former Yugoslav nations are usually pretty decent and have a good attitude. Bit of a mental generalisation I know!!
