Would have not guessed that, read a few autos of players who would have played with him and they speak very highly of him. Also know someone who played golf with him in a charity event and said he was priceless and a gent. Still you never know.

I believe him and Hansen used to be merciless to the young players when they broke into the first team - boot camp in the boot room type of thing. The funny thing is that Young Stan bore the brunt of their slagging more than most. I remember reading how Hansen in particular made him cry :( :)

Dalglish could get his daughter Kelly to give the players a rub down as a win bonus!
Performances might starting improving with that incentive.

He wasnt a caddy :rolleyes: he partnered him in a charity event. Never implied it was a basis to judge him on his overall manners.

You can fault Dalglish's pedigree but like most on the list we seem to be attracting those who have been out of management for a considerable amount of time.
