Question lads- how much time should be allowed to get from Cork Airport to Waterford on a Friday evening? Would 5.30 be too late to be leaving from there?

Thanks for the advice lads, not sure what I'm at yet, have a few irons in the fire but not being in a position to duck out of work before 3 (in Galway) makes it a bit awkward.

Dunno, reckon you'd want to be leaving Cork airport by 5 at the latest as the roundabout at the bottom of the hill (aka the magic roundabout) can be pretty hairy at the best of times, once you get through the lee tunnell the only other bottleneck to worry about would be castlemartyr but after that you should be ok

Once you clear Cork (ie, out of the tunnel), you should hit Dungarvan in 40-50 minutes, and Waterford in 30-35 minutes.

Can you fly from Galway to Waterford?

No, Waterford Airport has no internal flights.

And that's the tough part, it could be a bit of a struggle but a possibility.

On 2nd thoughts, and on personal experience, and consultation, not a hope!

So are a few Cobh lads heading over to tonight's game? Have sorted rather more conventional travel arrangements and should be there so make sure you say hello :)
