I suspect this has something to do with the extraordinary movement of the betting market on this game?
Bray's price moved from 5/6 into 2/5 - the biggest move I've ever seen on a League of Ireland game.
Sligo were believed to be fielding an understrength side - I don't know what XI they eventually fielded with. The story may have grown legs in the meantime and I expect the word 'fix' to be uttered before to long.

never bet but put a few quid on bray and told friends to do the same, a team playing for something against a Sligo team massively out of form. A fairly guaranteed looking win in favour of bray I would have though.t
