ive told u before about ur digs at the individual ur referring to there. why do u have a grudge against him, he loves the rams and if he ddosnt go to a game theres a good reason for it. the fact is he gets the crowd going, how many times did u get the crowd going gob****e.
I dont think anybody has a grudge against any other fan,but the fact remains that this so called no.1 fan turns up for the last home game and then shouting in the bar about not wanting to through a game that stressed has to be annoying when he wasnt seen in ballybofey,jackman park,oriel park and last few home games,god that has to be irritating,when you have the joe soap that travels away to games and to home games how does this entitle him to no.1 fan,fair enough he won it last year,but i know for a FACT anytime was offered a lift to away games always always, yes that was twice had an excuse,dont get me wrong DEPOR he does make a lot of noise,but, you know what they say 'an empty can' an all that..

been a rams fan for along time ... i rem 1983 this team can go all the way its a buzz like no other .... come on sat quick.....:ball: I reakon we are playing better then the 83 team as its over a longer period 36 games as opposed to 5 excellent cup results. We had a similar record to this years team in MSL in terms of winning lots of games 6-7 nil, but if we look at this team and what they have achieved then I think it has been a better achievement and done with style.

I think we also have to look back at the support the team received from Cobh / Cork . It was legendary. I know an ex Shamrock Rovers guy who played with Bluebell at the time and he went to collect someone in Heuston off the special train from Cobh to Dublin (No stop in Cork). He said the noise that 1000 people made getting off that train from Cobh made the hair stand on his neck as they had no such support. Rams went on to win that match. Lets hear some of that support on Sat and we will be well on the way...

i go to a lot of away games too and for many years, but i dont be on here saying im the best fan or pointing out that someone wasnt at this game or that game, its pathethic. i wasnt being cheeky to anybody but was just pointing out that people shoudnt be named or slagged off on a public forum for not going to a game or whatever. and for pointing out that i get an individual being a smartass, well imature really as he took offence for being told the obvious about names on public forums.

im not having a ****ing match at all, that individual is being a smartass not just to me but others, just look at his previous posts. i only did the right thing by pointing out that he should keep his consistant comments about a certain person to himself and not to be naming people on a public forum. i know i gave the initial on my last post but that was to make a point. and outside in ur trying to wind me up, im not making a fool of myself. but keep going because i know who u are, people like u are all brave behing ur username.

jesus lads its getting scary how close its getting....don't think i'll get much sleep tonight barely got any last night.....had my shower rocking this morning singing out the"choons"......great turnout tonight aswell....i saw carey and gutsie taking pennos afterwards and i have to say they nearly all went in except for some fabulous saves from bilko.....its looking good...no injuries or suspensions to worry about,i'd say this has been the first game in a long while we have had a full squad and what a time to have it....i cant fu**ing wait...i can fu**ing feel it now......aaaaahhhhhhh!!!!:eek::p:)

Lads I posted this on the 9th March 2007 after our opening day defeat to Limerick 37. How happy am I that I've been proved wrong!!!!!

"Ramblers met my exact expectations for the coming season tonight.
I don't know why people on the forum underestimated Limerick 37 as their team is made up of most of last years Limerick side with 1 or 2 exceptions.
Ramblers went out with no midfielders with consistent eircom league experience(with exception 4 Davin) and 2 strikers who are both in thier late teens to early twenties and just arn't experienced enough to lead the line together. Kearney at left-back is only just out of the MSL so isn't used to the eircom league level.
Our experience comes at the back with James McCarthy(who is prone to a clanger), Alan Carey, Murray, Guthrie and Davin. That makes it only 5 players in the 1st team squad who actually have some bit of know how.
We better get used to the site of Ramblers on a losing result this season because lets face it our squad is not strong enough to compete!
The Munster Cup should be all we achieve this season and if we don't win the Munster Cup it will be a massive dissappointment and huge failure."

it looks bad alrright but hindsight is a great thing, a lot of people would have said the same thing then. at least you admitted it. thats the great thing about this season, they won it even though nobody gave them a chance, class team and manager.
