No more terraces no more atmosphere lads its as simple as that. Once you're sitting down with a bit of room to strech those legs,happily munching on one of those delightful Croke Park hot dogs and have recently been able to empty that bladder(there were limited opportuniteis to do that on the main terraces in the old Lansdowne) you are far less likely to stand up and make a bit of noise. People are way too cynical in this country to respond to choreographed singing sections. This isn't an american 'take me out to the ball game' baseball crowd, sure they've put all those kids in the corner of the cusack and canal and they go bananas and everyone hates it! We might be a little closer to the play at the new Lansdowne Rd(or whatever they call it) but I really doubt the atmosphere will improve that much.
