Only if Ramblers get promoted and the players look comfortable playing at that level can we expect Fenlon to look at anyone. The 1st division isn't that great a standard in the whole scheme of things.

Don't know about that, if the Premier is that bad then how come the likes of Roy O'Donovan, Kevin Doyle and others were snapped up by cross channel clubs?

Whatever about the Premier, some of the first division teams are barely (if that) better than the best MSL teams. You wouldn't expect Fenlon to give any Rockmount players a chance would you? That's why I was saying they'd have to produce the goods in the top league to have any chance.

There's no doubting the Premier division has come a long way but if anything the gap between the Premier and the First has widened, especially since my day.
