Expecting approx 600 Bohs fans to make the journey north.Should make for a good atmosphere and a decent spectacle for TV.

I'll be there, prob in the away section (couldnt bring myself to stand in the home section) :p But at the same time i'll be there in the hope that Derry win  It leaves the possibility of us playing them in the santy cup play-off. Hopefully its a good game and good atmosphere (always is a good atmosphere in the brandy tbh)

Or if they do the Cup double and/or finish 2nd in the league? Play-off would would need to be after the cup final in case Bohs won the Cup.

If it goes:

1. Drogheda
2. Bohs
3. Cork
4. Shamrock

Cork win FAI Cup, Bohs League Cup. Cup runner-up in play-off? But what if Bohs lost the final - Shams vs. Harps/Cobh/Dundalk - 3 and a half weeks after the end of the season?

What if a team had won Division 1 and either of the Cups:confused:

I think it's easier at this stage to just to scrap the whole play-off and let Pats back in again.

Jinksy playing centre mid instead of Hunt:eek:. What's going on. Is Hunt injured????

Bohs were singing something like "are you watching Rovers" in their EL cup final game against Derry. I have to agree with Rovers on this one, they really are obsessed.

awful awful Bohs performance. FFS, starting Joxer, McCann, O'Donnell and Byrne in midfield is unforgiveable.

Derry just about deserved it, although Crowes disallowed goal looked ok.

When you've six in a row of anything, start crowin;)

Am I right in thinking it's 8 LC wins in 22 years?

<1/3 is not a bad ratio.

Sounds like a bit of bother tonight alright.

Could have been sectarian, given the area mentioned. London Street is very close to the Fountain.

One of the worst games i seen on TV this season real shocker (why did they keep saying it was a great match ?). I thought Connor went with the attitude of not wanting to lose rather than wanting to actually win the trophy. Why did he take Kelly off and why did he leave Hunt on the bench for so long what he done was very strange in my opinion.

The goal was totally out of context with the game and bar McCourt and Crowe their was very little quality on Show. Although i thought McHugh worked very very hard and i thought Kelly did ok as well.

totally agree with your first paragraph although you have to wonder why Hunt didnt just start the fckin game. Hes not an impact sub.

Crowe was sh1te though and is a fat lazy judas cnut, an embarrassment to the club. What did he do - one shot from distance that barely troubled Jennings. Get to f*ck.

Connor lost that game from the start with his approach and his team selection.

Dear God, what an appalling excuse for a football game. Thank God I was drinking and chatting at the same time. Think I predicted a tedious 1-0 home win on the other thread too...

Derry have some Cup record. Ten quarter-finals since 2000; only one defeat. :) :)

I enjoyed the game. I thought Derry tried to win it whereas Bohs tried not to lose it.

The Brandywell looked good on tv. Great home support as usual and decent Bohs support too.

I wonder how many Bohs fans agree with Setanta's prematch analysis that this has been a great season for Bohs.

Aaron

Agree, but i thought Crowe worked very hard, the service was poor coming up to them and they were living off scraps. Not being smart arse but i do think man for man Bohs have one of the best teams in the league and now have strength in depth. But are not easy on the eye the way Connor has you lot playing, also think Burns has slowed down a lot, Burnsey better get hat coaching badge he wants as his years are running out quick with the weight he has on.

Well you must have been watching a completely different game to me. I thought it was a good game, plenty of chances and a cracking atmosphere. Glen Crowe was awful, hardly did a thing all night. Once Mansaram came off Bohs raely threatened. Also disappointing to hear Bohs fans wrecking a pub in Derry

the BBC report is ambiguous but if we are the aggressors in this then it just makes a bad night even worse. Apologies to Derry fans if this is the case.

Plenty of chances you serious ? :confused. I actually counted a sequence of 4 passes and 3 of them involved players giving the ball away to the other team, as bad as match i have ever seen. Unlike you Stu i did not have a drink to help ease this torture.

Always seems worse when its never your team in a final ;)

I watched most of the first half, I fell asleep for the last few minutes but that'd be down to my 6 o'clock rise rather than the quality of the game, and all the second half.

I thought the first half was very good attacking football. Both tems could move the ball around and Derry created a lot of half-chances whilst Bohs had the odd one. It seemed to change around the half hour mark (bout the time I fell asleep).

The second half wasn't as lively but again good, sporadic pieces of attacking football.

I missed extra time as I was unloading the dishwasher. :( I did catch a replay of McHugh's goal.

McHugh would be my MOTM (from what I saw). He had some very good touches and worked hard for the team.

If I were a Derry fan, I'd be very frustrated with McCourt's display tonight. Reminds me a lot of when Ronaldo first went to Man U. All flare, no end product.

Just back from the game, both sets of fans were great in creating a superb atmosphere, pity about the game.
How in sweet jebus was Kev McQ MOTM? Fair enough he scored a screamer but what else did he do? Derry should have had the game wrapped up in the frist 20 mins. Pat McCourt is a joy to watch (even when being kicked around the park) Ken Oman is a class act imo too.
Once again the ref was terrible i thought. He gave some shocking decisions both ways and really bottled other decisions. But enough about him.
Crowe is finished, he's a shadow of the player who was playing for Bohs in his previous stint. Hunt was badly lacking in a very dull Bohs side, very negative and they got what they deserved... nothin.
Hopefully Harps can keep up their push now and set up a massive play off game with the muckers.

Derry = the new Longford (who were, for a time, the new Rovers)

Ehhhhh ? We were winning trophies years before Longford had more in the stands than on the pitch.

Our first senior national trophy even came at the expense of Longford in 1986.

Derry are the new no-one - we're unique ! :D Only team to win a treble of League Cups. More Senior national trophies per-years in the league than any other EL team. Like I said, unique...... :D

The new Longford.....:o

Unfortunately yea, its on ceefax but it doesn`t mention which sides fans were doing the attacking.

Why would City fans be attacking a bar in their own city....?!?!

If we were that way inclined we'd have had plenty of opportunities to do so over the last 22 years.

Strange that something like this only happens when Bohs English schooligans are in town. Hmmm - now could there possibly be any connection.....
