as much as it pained me to see bohs win tonight am just delighted the game on friday goes ahead, hopefully will be decent numbers travelling up, any word on how bookings for bus are going?

i would have preferred pats winning but thankfully there is a result as i would have being ragin to miss my chance to vent some over the top abuse at the obese ego as i had to move mountains to get to the game on friday nite!

Two great goals by mance. Great sligo look to the bohs set-up don't you think? Game was down for Monday next had this one ended all square. Can't believe how incompetient the FAI are but then why should I think any different of that shower?
Looking forward to Friday let's hope the blue boys make an ever bigger racket that the UCD game. I'm sure they will.

Watching the game last night I don't think we have anything to fear. I doubt ventre will be a patch on chrissy turner (the best player to pull on the red of rovers in a long time), but if we play to our true form we can steal a point. I'd play gordon up front and sit faz in behind. Burns is even slower now than when he was with us so we'll need someone with pace to go at them and I think gordon is the man.

Turner was no passenger played class last night ask the Bohs lads. I would have given him Man of the Match to be honest.

I hope the point is stressed to the likes of Danny, Gordon, Meredith etc the importance of putting in a big game against Bo-wez.

Rovers to win 0-2, Faz, Foy.

Coleman's gonna have a goal disallowed, Danny's gonna get a yellow card, I'm gonna have a bag of chips at half time, Connor will occasionally turn and throw a few rye smiles at the Rovers faithful. Nobodys gonna throw any bottles and Peers will get man of the match.

That person should be a given a lifetime ban.

Considering the amount of fines ye've incurred this year it would probably result in an even more sever fine,as is the FAI's policy for consistent breaches of regulations.

I'd keep an eys on RW Rover-shady character he is.:p

We're going to let the gnome know what we think of him,but it might be an idea to confine it to before the match and half time. Once the lads are on the pitch we should concentrate on supporting them.Can't wait, the vocal chords were well limbered up against UCD

Agree he had run his course at Rovers anyways , of the players he signed Turner is the only major loss , Singh is always injured , Burns lacks pace and Mansaram doesn't always give 100% and is terrible in one on one situations.

Should be a good game hopefully Bohs might be a bit tired after Monday night I would expect eh following team for us , Brush,Coleman,Peers,McKenzie,Foy, Raf,Boyd,Ventre, Curran or Gordan , Faz and Judge. Faz and Raf could do a lot of damage running at Burns reckon we should sit back and counter attack as a lack of pace in bohs defence could yield goals , no point lumping long balls at them as this will go nowhere.

whether we abuse connor depends on the game,if the boys are playing well il be honest i wudnt care if walter smith was in the dugout but if we playing poorly i doubt we'l b able to help ourselves. but my thoughts are if we abuse him we're given him the attention he craves,anyone who saw(had a laugh) at the vid of him and mick McCarthy can see he thinks he's the next lawrie sanchez or martin o neill an its clear for all his ego has outgrown his skill as a manager. so think we shud forget the little man and support the boys,cos without hughes and o'grady they'll need it!!

I couldnt agree more we should ignore quasimodo totally although what i think would be appropriate would be when he approaches the tunnel at half time and full time that the rovers fans break into hysterical and extremely loud laughing as if he is an embarrassment to football nevermind bohs!!

Although it will be very hard not to abuse him.....no promises!

I agree with what Cook says and a few people on here, I think we should concentrate on getting behind our own team instead of abusing the b*llox.

I like red_away's idea but instead of laughing at him as he is coming off the pitch at half time how about we sing the Smurfs song (or something similar) at the little munchkin ??!! :D

No point talking about spilt milk - Burns, Mansaram, Turner etc. They are now gone for whatever reason. But we still have Hughsie, who is obviously considering his options. He will be watching from the stands. Why dont we make an effort to show him how much he means to the club. He has been excellent for two years, even when playing out of position. All the others are not a loss compared to him ... no point shouting abuse at him next year, lets try & encourage him to stay
