No need to insult my intelligence. A simple typing error is all that is I can as guarantee you that... As usual the only way to get back at someone is to be smug.

If you can't take it, don't give it. You say "pass the tissue" when I comment on Mick shedding tears and then you sarcasticly describe McCarthy as a genius and then can't spell the word. I find that very amusing and ironic :D.

Mind you, I hope Mick screws up next Sunday and sheds a few more tears.

I'm sick of this crap of Keane walking away when in fact he was sent home.

Wrong. Check the facts.

He walked first without giving the reasons just said he didnt want to be there and added it had nothing to do with McCarthy or any other players. Cue panic and that embarrassment Mick Byrne was dispatched to his room to persuade him to change his mind. This eventually worked.

Then he had the meltdown and was sent home. At no time after was he embarrassed or ashamed. He didnt want to be there.

Always amuses me when people who cant think for themselves cos the media tell them what to think say that he left over the lack of facilities. Also the beatification of him now by the media shows them up for what they truly are.

Re McCarthy's Park I have that on video. That plank and traitor lover Humphries is in it unfortunately. Enjoyable documentary.

Exactly, he was sent home.

You're missing the point. He walked out first. What does that tell you?

That he reacted in a fit of rage without thinking about what he was doing. When he calmed down he realised that he was wrong to walk out.

And then promptly had another fit of rage.

I am sure Keane should be very near the top of the list for people who have walked out on their country .......................

Never forget that .
Spot on

It would have to be Gary breen for best Irish player ever ;)

Nah seriously.Who would you think would win it? Paul mcgrath? Liam Brady? Don Givens? Robbie Keane? Frank Stapleton?

Nothing prompt about it. Also McCarthy was the one who confronted Keane in a fit of rage making allegations against Keane.

Bill, you obviously feel very little for the Irish cause if you think that documentary was as "dull as dishwater". I suspect you weren't in Belgium that night like I and many thousands of other fans were and suffered the same depths of depression Mick did.

Like I said the programme was dull as anything. depths of depression? get a life.

I read through the thread, skipped the Saipan cráp of course and I didn't see one reference to Keane being on the list.

That sounds like you thought the above list was something else all together. Apologies. :)
