I never, ever buy milk in see-through plastic cartons and won't use milk from one.
I'm sure I've loads more as I'm sure we all do but it's sunday morning and my brain is fried.

I hate sitting with my back to a door, it freaks me out no end. Sometimes it's unavoidable and i spend the duration looking behind me.

I'm constantly checking the time. I can't sleep if the curtains are closed. I wash my hands after I brush my teeth.
All I can think of for now.

Yeh I hate milk in plastic cartons too. Tastes horrible. Refuse to buy it which causes arguments on holidays with mates who want to get a huge cheap carton of the stuff. I also cant eat bisuits, cakes or chocolate without milk to dip them in. I'm addicted to milk is the key :D

It's caused by Vitamin D. If the milk is exposed to daylight -which it is on any shelf in a supermarket or shop it starts to turn. Refrigeration is pointless if it's not kept in the dark.
I also check milk cartons for suspicious "plumpness". If they're too firm then the chemical reactions have started.

Ah it all makes sense now. I always thought it the plastic that made it taste different. So that's probably why coke from a bottle and a can tastes different. Damn, I hate when I miss obvious stuff like that. Makes me feel stoopid

I won't drink Guinness from a plastic cup. Also, I hate being late.(And no,I'm not female!);)

It's also a reason why many drinks are sold in green or otherwise tinted bottles.
Plastic containers shouldn't affect taste but metal ones most definitely do with some drinks.
I'd notice no difference in taste whatsoever in some lagers whether they came from a bottle or tin ...Budweiser, Miller, Heineken.
But with ales ...particularly Newcastle Brown but also Bass, Smithwicks, McArdles etc... there is simply no comparison between the two with the bottled being vastly superior to the tinned.

Yeah agree about the plastic milk cartons, hate lateness too, I'm always on time when meeting mates in the pub etc. although this usually means I sit waiting on my own on the hu*es for ages.

sitting at a messy table/desk.
i simply have to tidy it up, be it monday morning in work or saturday night in a indian fast food place.
i think it might be OCD or something.
also, despite being a preacher of reason and logic, and generally despising superstitions, i cant help but blame particular scarves for poor runs of form.
I hear than GavinZac, I pour scorn on superstition and religion, yet can't help feeling ****ed off when seeing a single magpie on the way to a match, and sometimes find myself choosing what gear to wear based on the results the last time they got an outing. It annoys me that I do this- yet I continue.

I can't help but check that doors are locked. When heading out, even though I know I locked the back door, I still have to go back and check it again:o. Same with doors of my car.

among other things. He also sleeps with Helen Hunt.
*Might be wrong about that bit.

I used to read every issue until about 2003 when it turned crap.
I am also very punctual; I always arrive at Terryland at least 90 minutes before kick off.
Recently, I felt the urge to leave 90 minutes before the end.

I like things in 2's. If was eating peanuts I have to have them 2 at a time. Think I may have been Noah in a past life.
Have told ya all this b4 but have a thing about light switches and sockets switches. If there is a two way light switch they all have to be the same way when lights are off. Also if there is no plug in the socket it bugs me if the switch is down.
I hate wobbly teeth yet my 9 yr old loves to torment me every time he has a loose tooth.
I have my "lucky" Ernie from Seasme Street socks which if I dont wear to a game we lose (we lose sometimes when I wear them too but not if they are teamed with my pink runners, pink flowery top & a particular pair of jeans) .
I am always early for everything & freak out if am late. (yes for those reasons too strangeone!)
I will only eat with matching cutlery. If it doesnt match I wont use the knife.
I hate milk.

I hate someone grating cheese & putting the block back in the pack with grated lumps on the side. I always cut the amount of cheese I need off the block, grate and put the rest of block back in fridge.
Well i read the paper back to front(or i just dive into the sports section near the back if its a broadsheet) as well but i wouldn't call it a curious habit because its usually the for the sport that i am buying the thing.
I don't think i have any strange habit. Definitely not a fella that arrives early for things anyway:cool:

If I lived in Limerick I would check my backdoor 3 times, make sure the bullet proof shutters were down, pull up the drawbridge & fill the moat with sharks. Still wouldnt be able to sleep tho!
As it is am lucky if I remember to lock my front door never mind the back one!

I had a "Lucky Headband" for attending the Ireland games between 1987 and the early 90's :o - which coincided with a major unbeaten home run. I wouldn't let me Mam wash the head band as I thought it could wash away the lucky vibes it had obviously absorbed.
She said "Get a job, you're 26!!" :D - (I was only a kid, honest!!)
The "lucky headband" did more for that team than Maurice Setters ever did.

I'm definitely a collector/hoarder of crap...
Also have to have DVDs/CDs in the correct way in the box. Definite case of OCD.
Tend to use elipses a lot too...
Always have to re-check the locks before going out, and at night.
Do the ticket stub collecting as well, but then I don't collect programmes so it's my record of going to games.
I'm always late for eL games. It's bad luck to see kick off imo, but whether that's really superstition or alcoholism I'm not really sure :D
I won't throw out CD's or Books, even if they're rubbish and I won't listen/read them again. They have to stay in "the collection".
If I'm not present at a match involving a team I support, I won't make any effort to find out through media, etc. 'til the next day. In fact, I'll actively attempt to avoid finding out.
Don't ask me why. It's like I'm afraid if I check the latest score or tune into the final score it'll be a bad one.
Although, I did break this superstition the other day (on accident, by seeing the FT score unintentionally on the BBC sport website) with the rugby international against England. We lost 62-5...........
