Cant look at ketchup on a plate or on a tissue/big mac box in McDonalds etc. Like the taste of it and can eat it in burgers etc though! :o

If I like a song I have to download it and put it in the "My Music" folder, cant just go to youtube to see it, must download and add to collection!

Think thats it!

Only just discovered this thread but ye are all freaks! :D

* I am always/often late. I think I was 15 minutes late on first day of current job. Start as I mean to continue ;)
* My spelling is bad as I rarely proof read.
* Used to receive emails for work from guy in Norway who had occasional pigeon English. He would would use no /not/now incorrectly sometimes & used to infect me as in "it is no working" instead of "it is now working". I would proof read emails but totally unable to detect until sent.
* I am sure everyone has his/her morning routines so I don't think they count.

If I don't put a reminder in my phone to do something I won't remember to do it. I'm totally dependent on the thing. If someone calls me and says, "drink tomorrow?" I need to put a reminder for later that day, the morning after and then an hour before I'm meant to be there. Just in case :D

Could be undiagnosed OCD.

I don't suffer from such nonsense.

Also can't stand untidiness.

And when I do tidy things away everything has to be symetrical (eg magazines all at corner of Coffee table)

Always seperate my food when eating aswell

For Sunday dinner, for example, I would move my potatos to one side of the plate, carrots to another, peas to another, chicken to another, stuffing to another etc, etc.

If I lived in Limerick I would check my backdoor 3 times, make sure the bullet proof shutters were down, pull up the drawbridge & fill the moat with sharks. Still wouldnt be able to sleep tho!

But's it's nearly always exactly three times

I'll check it once, then go to leave the kitchen and check again before I leave. Then just after I leave the kitchen I'll go back in and check it one last time

I've been given out to loads about my habits. Anyone on here who knows any better tell me if it's something more than just plain wierdness?? :p

God I used to be the same about tidiness. Was obsessive until my eldest started crawling & wrecking the place then got more relaxed about it.

Also have the symetry thing goin on. If am setting the table, table mats need to be perfectly in line with the table & cutlery placed precisely too.

Lim-til-I-die, you are just a freak, its a good job there are loads of us!

Freaks unite & take over the world!

I'd imagine the tidiness thing and locking up would be quite common.

Although moving the grub around the plate is a bit excessive!! :D

I'd have a few rituals for locking up the house as I've a fear of leaving on the grill or leaving doors unlocked.

A lot of my superstitions would surround Ireland matches. Once I see the White jersey I know there's trouble ahead...................

I'm the same. Can't eat the meat if a bit of potato or something gets on it.

Can't stand tidyness myself. Genuinely when I get home and everything is placed perfectly in order, and things are neatly packed away I start messing it up straight away. Same in the kitchen, there is nothing I like better than cooking a big dinner for a few people and leaving the place in a bit of a state. Don't know why, but order seems to drive me to distraction. At leats that's what I tell my flatmate :p

Once I have one pint I can't stop til I've had at least six, but that might not be classed as a curious habit.

I give myself a set number of lives in computer games. Example is when I'm playing Street Fighter on the SNES. You can continue on no matter how many times you die, but I give myself three lives, no more, no less. Same with every other game and I genuinely will stop playing and start again if I exceed this number, even if I'm on the final boss.

If your mother is also your other, I think that settles the wierdo issue.

I have a similar issue with sandwichs and the inclusion within them of tomatoes. I like tomatoes and I love bread but the two together (other than in ketchup form) is a big no-no with me. It's not as simple as removing the tomatoes either. The bread is "tainted".

I can just about tolerate small quantities of lettuce provided it's presence is dwarfed by large quantities of somethings flesh, cheese and ketchup but any other raw, wet vegetable matter in bread is anathaema to me.

Have to admit my veg not touchin meat has more to do with being a veggie than any strange foible!

But a food foible I have is that I cant eat eggs without ketchup or if cold without mayonaise.

Now you mention it I don't hate vegetarians but I hate the ones who think its bad to meat but think its ok to eat fish. Just can't understand the logic behind it?

All of them? Even the ones who keep their feelings about it completely to themselves and, while disagreeing, respect other peoples opinions?

When I'm playing football I always tuck the right side of my jersey into my shorts and leave the left side hanging out (all started with Jason McAteer at USA 94) :o

Also if the jersey has long sleeves I have to roll them up. No matter how cold it is.

How many times does he have to tell you - he is not a number, he is a free man!

EDIT: Sorry Sligoman, just realised that you seemed to be the target of the last few snies out of me: nothing personal, I'm on a very retro-gag buzz today - you just seemed to tee-them all up for me.

Never liked the number seven...this may be helped by the amount of people who think it's their lucky number and always pick it:o

Definitely an irritant. I've no problem with people choosing to be vegetarian, just don't be so feckin hypocritical to eat fish. Fish have feelings too! :D

Me too! Although a 15 or a 25 would be ok as I wouldn't really consider them real odd numbers.

I never ever EVER use Comic Sans or Times New Roman when Im typing on a Mac or PC. Dont know why, but I just despise those typefaces cos everyone uses them. And Comic Sans being used on People Missing posters. Bit inappropriate dont ya think? Also ive a deep hatred and mistrust of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft PicturePaint or whatever it is. Anything Microsoft really.
