I suppose he probably would be worth the gamble and we probably do have the money so why not?
A big name.
Presuming Jof is the highest earner, what do ye reckon he's on?

So was I.
I have to say Trev's "defence" of Spillage was a little weak. He said Spillage was a great fan of City and..... eh..... that's all.
Damned with faint praise ?;) :D

In the Hearld today, Foley wants to play for Cork, but Champ League footie with Bohz is also attractive.

Persionally, if he's not looking for too much cash City should sign him, I think that he'd be good with 'JOFY' and would be a good crowd puller for a while at least.

I'd say he'd be better off playing with John O'Flynn!;) :D

But if Oxford wanted him after the month would Cork or Bohs be able to offer more money?

We don't need him but he'd be a great addition.

Echo today has Dolan saying he's planning on meeting FOLEY in London soon to try and sign him up for City...

If that's true then it's great news. Fair play to Dolan for being willing to travel all the way to London to try and persuade the player to sign for us, he means business.

I hope we get Foley, I'd love to see him and Flynny playing together.

Dolan has put in a caveat about money though. Foley may expect too much for City to pay.
I think City have to be careful here. Offer him a decent wage, but let's not get into the situation where his wages are a drain on the club.
J O'F, Dan, for instance, are more valuable, and proven, players for us at the moment.
