Just wondering do any channels show a weekly irish league program on tv.

I am pretty sure that no channel shows such a programme apart from Setanta altough I am almost certain they don't
There is a short highlights programme shown not long after the matches finish on a saturday on BBC2 called final score from Northern Ireland but there is no analysis or anything just the goals and maybe an interview or two.
the two cup finals are normally shown live however and there were extended highlights shown of the County Antrim shield shown on UTV later on in the night of the final.

UTV sport shows highlights on Sundays but it is only for a few minutes.
Bogball and bog hockey are both given extensive coverage by both BBC & UTV! Or maybe it just seems like that to most of us up here!

I merely deal in facts...................................at the Brandywell I thought I heard the Drogs' fans sing a song with the word "bogball" in it. It's a good job Logie wasn't there!! ;)

Well I am not a massive fan of the GAA myself especially since I learned about they way they have been trying to block the whole Tallaght stadium thing! but the fact is that GAA attracts more interest from the public i.e gets more spectators at matches etc and that is why it gets more media coverage than the IL.

I thought it was to do with each channels' sports presentors and their infatuation with bogball and bog hockey at the expense of IL football! Maybe I'm wrong............................................. .............

The coverage shown of GAA in Northern Ireland makes the crowds at Irish League games look massive, some times...
