Just on RTE news that they "understand talks have broken down between Pats and Dolan, and he is on his way to Cork".

Fooking relief. I was having vision of Kabia as our No 2 for the last few hrs!

Well, I still have a soft spot for Rico
(and don't say a bog hole, dalo !),
but in case anyone thought that when I was calling Dolan all the names under the sun, a f*cker and said he was treating CCFC very badly, what of course I meant was
Welcome Pat, you are the greatest manager in the world.!!!!:D

Surely just turning up on Union Quay at noonish would be much easier ?;) :p

So we'll all be there so.

Wouldnt it be funny if we had the Pats "Dolan Out" flag. Imagine what both Pat and Lennox would think! The looks on their faces would be priceless.

:D :D :D

Not to jump too far ahead, but is there any chance he might have a suitcase of the mad builder's money with him??

now that LM is "technical director" does he have any influence over Pat(hes slimming 4 city!)

Less of the fat jokes ccfcthing.

If LM has any power over Pat itll be very little i reckon. Murphys position, I reckon, is a glorified talent scout. Be that as it may, he does have a good eye for talent.

But in answer to the Q, i reckon the only man Pat Dolan will answer to is Brian Lennox and thats the way it should be.

Mad builder is right.
Anyone in or around the Dublin area will be familiar with the Wallace Construction trucks and site enclosures.
The company logo is a football.
The guy is football mad.
I think it all came to the fore after Euro88/Italia90.
I'm sure there are plenty business people in Cork who could be enticed into parting with a large some of money to invest in the perspective giants of football in Ireland.
