View Full Version : Mouldy Hot dogs in Richmond Park
Havent seen many of those fellas with the hot chocolate and soup going around lately. Remember one guy asking him for a turkey sandwich in Bray one night and he said he would have to check with his boss...came back 15 minutes later to say no, they didnt do sandwiches! :p

Anyway, there are loads of people with those skills living around the border if you're stuck. But you really should try embracing the new peaceful Ireland like the rest of us.......

went to st mels park years ago and it was on a good friday,
the bloke in the manky chip van outside the ground wouldnt sell meat on that holy day,
all he had was soggy chips and red sauce.
i got a hotdog at richmond the other night
it was raw
i brought it back and the ignorant polish girl just shrugged her shoulders and threw it in the bin

Jaysus, I know what this thread is about now. I bought a burger and chips for myself and my girlfriend costing €12 from the little stall in Richmond. The girl behind the counter half filled (no exageration) the miniscule chip dish with complete trepidation as if she may breach their target extortion profit margin by one chip. To top it off they were the most pathetic withered shrivelled tasteless excuses for chips/fries I have ever seen. The burger was average at best. Considering how far €6 would take you at Burdocks in Dalymount and Tolka or the chip van in Belfield it's shocking. That place isn't worth eating out of even if you're starving.

I know someone who bought a frozen Hot Dog (or should that be Cold Dog?) in Terryland ten years ago and brought it back to complain. "Sorry, I forgot to cook it" was the response the punter got, plus a refund and a fully cooked Dog.
Meawhile, a young lad/schooligan said "Hey, I bought one a few minutes ago and it was f***ing frozen too. Where's my refund and replacement?"
"Sorry love, hand it over to me and I will give you a new one"
"Too late. I ate it"

The chip van currently operating in Terryland does a tasty curry chips but it's not as high ranking as the Mon Dog.
