Yes it is, two weeks in and seven to go.
I heard it's probably going to really end after this series, with a film.

I'm expecting Tony to be shot dead or get a long prison sentence as this season draws to a close.
I hope they have more of Chris/Paulie this time around. Pine barrens 2 would be fantastic, one of the funniest episodes to date in a black comedy sort of way.

I think Tony will make a big break, or something will happen to his son.

With the wonders of the internet,i've managed to watch both episiodes and is it not a continuation of series 6 as opposed to a new series?
Its considered a continuation of the 6th series.
Just watched them myself.

People, I've just discovered a series which is(to my mind) at least as good, if not better than the Sopranos. I speak of ,"The Wire." Also made by HBO. It's stunningly good. THE most realistic cop show ever, and more. I just got the first series box set and have two episodes to watch. Have already got series 2. Wonderful stuff. TG4 are showing it on Monday nights, but they're way ahead, series 4 I think. Anyone seen it ? Opinions ?

Watched all the Sopranos on TV with the missus. Then we bought the complete box set and watched them all again twice. Can't wait for the last in the series.
Only part I find boring: when Tony visits the shrink. Needless to say that's my wife's favourite part. Women

Only about a minute with the shrink so far in this last series so you'll be happy OwlsFan
Watched the wire and thought it was good but kind of fell off the radar for me. Don't know why...

Just after watching the 6th episode (or 18th if you go by HBO) and I'll say one thing don't get too attached to christopher

Holy sh*t,i never saw what happened to Christopher, coming
I do feel the standard may have dropped a little but everything tends to wind down towards the end.

RTE need to provide variety in programming so not allowed have mob stories on both channels.

Great first episode last Thursday. Only Tony, Carmella, Bobby and Janice involved but a classic. If the rest are as good, it will make for an excellent last series.
Not bad episode. Clearly setting up the plot for the remaining episodes...

It's not on this week in the States because of Memorial day weekend, but just two to go after that.It looks like the sh*t is going to hit the fan between Tony and Phil's crew
Speaking of spoilers - on of the rags (think it was the Herring)- had a major spoiler last week. Big picture revealing a major development, which you couldn't really miss - then a small headline at the top of the page warning - if you don't want to know the plot don't look - by which time of course I'd already seen it. Bastids:mad:

Are RTE screening the last part of the final series or the first? I've watched the first half but still waiting on E4 to show the last episodes.
