2 own goals and a peno, shocking stuff. they had one really gud player in midfield who controled everything, think he plays with the A team?.
we played to deep, invited them on.
think the 6-0 scoreline was a bit flattering for them
good win for erris, looks like a battle for 2nd..

Midweek games for teams travelling to Erris or Valley Rovers are bound to be tough, same for them if they have to travel. Players will always be unable to get off work in time. Games between yourselves and Valley look like being the vital ones now although its still very tight down to second from bottom.

"Dream come true"......I very much doubt it considering they conceded 9 less goals to Celtic than your first team!!
A win is a win however bad they were and with Valley Rovers losing it should see Town going clear into second. Erris are on fire at the mo and it looks doubtful if any one can catch them.

We werent on about the first team. Do Town members take secret classes in which ye are told to defend the club at all cost. If your argument is that ye are better because Celtic only beat ye 5 0 and a win is a win. My Lord above , ye sound just like the English. Everybody on Here agrees that town constantly dress them selfs up to a higher level but dont tell me ............. The Town are right and everyone else is Wrong

Fair point but I have seen both teams play this year and Town are still behind the Boro at this stage. The Boro have three/four good player while the Town have one. In fairness Celtic could have scored 14 against Town only for your keeper & the centre backs.

Yes, sometimes I do feel I have to defend Town as you seem to take such delight in knocking them. The current Town players I know don't go around mouthing that they're something that they're not, which is anything but a Div 2 side. There does seem to be a minority which do but they don't speak for the majority at the club who just want to play footie and try to get out of Div 2. If you want to tell them to shut the hell up next time you here them talking sh**e when you're out be my guest but can we leave it out here on Foot and try and be objective!!

I agree that we(Town) are way behind the boro still.they hav great facilities compared to our own.But the club is trying to go forward and hopefully we will have similiar facilities ourselves someday. in relation to the 1 nil win over boro b at the wkend-the result could easily have been 4 or 5 nil,we had some good chances ourselves -but didn't put them away.Boro had only one chance in the game in the first 5 minutes and it was put wide.

could have been the same against celtic in cup last year as well -only for the defence.
The Boro are having difficulties at the moment - but they are a bigger club than Town,But every club as to start somewhere,so we simply need to get out of div 2. Erris B are strong outfit -but lot of games to go yet and they have two away games to play in moneen yet -so you just wouldn't know how the tables might change.

Leave it out Marcus. Don't be talkin up the Town you're only givin Pixie ammo!!
You're one game back in goal and you'd be better off concentrating on keepin that place. Fair enough he's biased but don't give him reason. By the way you're bang on with the linesman observation.

Damn right a was a crap or biased Linesman. For a start i didnt offer to do the frikin line. Ref put the flag in my hand and said to do it. Secondly do you honestly think he gives a crap what decision i make. Thirdly i didnt call a ball out because i thought the ref would do it as he had every other decision and as i just saidi couldnt have been arsed doing the line. If your so upset John you should have taken the flag :D
