FAI didn't sell the first 6 odd rows of the Lower Davin (behind the goals at least).

(rare) bit of credit to them, the IRFU had no problem selling these seats at full price.

Row NN of Lower Davin view actually wasn't too bad, can imagine the seats further back under the overhang are poor enough, as evidenced by the LCD teles that hang from the roof to show people whats going on.

Not 100% sure about this, but i think those seats are left empty because of some UEFA giudeline regarding the advertising hoardings - or maybe thats just the Champions League?

I was curious about the view from those seats so I went down there for a look before the game. Standing in row F of the Canal end, I could barely make out the far end of the pitch. I would have been fuming if I'd ended up down there.

Which obviously doesn't apply in Croker given the pitch dimensions.

No, actually unbelievably the FAI did not rip off fans putting them in these seats because the view was restricted.

Read it in 1 of the papers last week!!!!
