Powerstation in the Coral Cup at 4.00.....lump on him...re-mortgage the house, sell the car, the wife, anything you can get your hands on......Well, he came second...ran a great race. Had him each way all along for the last 10 days at 20's, 16's and 12's so happy days.

Ha! I was on "finger on the pulse" in the 4.00, the jockey fell off just after the race started, was not even going over a fence. Now I know why I stopped backing horses!! That sort of thing seemed to happen to me on a regular basic, especially when I see a horse at a 'good' price. Seems like some people knew that horse was not going to get round!! So my 10p E/W lasted all of 10 seconds :rolleyes:

Got Oscar Park @ 20/1 in PP at lunch time today :cool: - with the free bet in the Star which I found on the train this morning. My first win of the festival :)

today is a day to be forgotten......what about tomorrow?
fancy 'Lounas' in the triumph hurdle and 'black harry' in thw insurances novices. the latter at a decent 7/1.
in the gold cup i'll be looking at 'the listener' whos a good jumper and at 9/1 isnt bad at all, even if you fancied an e/w

I think i am quitting the horse racing gambling lark after this cheltenham, it looks like my second year running to get my fingers burned by the bookies.
I couldnt back a car into a garage this week never mind back a winning horse !! :) The bookies have cleaned up this week

I have a felling Kauto Star is gonna fall. He's been dodgy over the fences.
Paulliac win and Freeze the Flame e/w in the 2 pm
Black Harry in th 2.35
Exotic Dancer or State of Play in the Gold cup
in the 4pm Bica win and Climate control e/w

Not sure about the 4.40 probably Saintsaire or Tysou

5.20 is a lottery

great cheltenham for the smart punters, never mind what the papers say, a lot of people came out good ;)

i had 7 winners, my best ever, up 244 squid, should pay my rent for a week or two!

nice treble today.man utd, sunderland and gretna:)
