That's their plan I agree. But I don't believe Stan will last beyond the end of next week. Sunday papers will be the death knell. Remember Delaney blinked before the Czech game outside the mansion house. Delaney has lost the respect of the entire football community in this country. And his pick Staunton has turned out to be a complete disaster. The hardnecking will only make thing worse.

no way...their pathetic attempts at spin doctoring got them through today and therfore they will surf through Sunday. They think they know what they're are up to and in a way they do. Unless there is a positive set of results and performances at the end of March Stans is outta here. It should happen now so that we might have a chance at salvaging something but Delaney simply does not care about the results or team. Its all about saving face.

Delaney is going nowhere. The two are not intrinsicly linked. As soon delaney feels that they are merging on a sinking ship delaney will offload. Unfortunately/fortunately imo that will happen soon.

We(fans) however could have a stronger voice if we were arsed. To be honest we're as badly organised as the blazers. This must be realized.

PS. A number of hacks have got real dirt on the Delaney/Staunton relationship. Assuming they've now got the concrete evidence (and if they have any balls) they'll publish. They owe it to Irish football.....

Can you elaborate any more on this?
